Flamingo Resort On Lake George

Flamingo Resort was always the best place to relax on Lake George with their clean beach and pools, but also because of the memories we made with our friends. The amazing staff offered us firewood every night and gave us whatever we needed, including two brand new blankets! We had very friendly staff and we enjoyed our stay!

Great resort to stay at when at Lake Georger, NY. We rented a 3br 2bath with a kitchen and living area, and it came with access to a grill right outside our door. The customer service was great, and the size of the suite was perfect for a family of 6 or more. Came with parking. They also have 2 pools and access to the lake. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they have to spray for bugs. You will not be able to sit by the lake and enjoy it with the amount of bugs that surround you to feast off of your blood. Not to mention the bites last 2 weeks or more and are extremely painful. They look like small fruit flies, but they are mini vampires and will make you feel paralyzed wherever they bite. You will not be able to enjoy sitting outside your door with the bugs that hang around to attack. Other than that, everything was great.

It’s a beautiful resort , changed rules under new owner , not allowed boats or jet skies anymore. Fire pits you pay for the logs and choose your spot . You can hangout with loud music until 10PM , lights got turned off at 11:30pm . You can bring your own gas grill, must get your own food and water bottle there is a supermarket in Bolton NY “TOPS” is the closest one .

We had a great time here. There was so much for the kids to do. We stayed across the street with an infant and it was a lot of work going back and forth in would recommend if you have small kids or older family members to stay on the lake side of the property. Rooms for clean and staff was around the property day and evening in case anything was needed. The kids loved going from the lake to the 2 pools and loved the jumping bridge and floating dock.

Remember to bring a floor mat (nothing to wipe feet on upon entrance so dirt is transported everywhere), a good knife if you plan on cutting anything (two lame steak knives in our room), large coffee mugs (if one enjoys that in the morning!) along with the obvious like salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc. A bit disappointing that the kayaks aren’t available until 10:00 am so the early morning placid water can’t be enjoyed. Also can’t access after 6:00 for sunset. A bit restrictive for me. Awesome dock, chairs and beach.
