SightMD Garden City

I seamlessly made this appointment on ZocDoc and was immediately greeted and checked in by a professional for my appointment the next day. The place is clean, staff are warm and hospitable. The care I received and diagnosis from Dr. He was top notch. She knew her job, respected the staff and most importantly treated my eye condition and gave me preventative care. I would highly recommend this doctor and facility,

I am giving stars to the front desk ladies who are very sweet, at least the ones I had and I have been there 4 times in the past 2 months. Part of the reason I have been there so many times is because the doctors there, Van Valkenburg, Emmanuel, and Kasper don't seem to be able to correctly diagnose and treat my eye infection and I also did not feel that either of the two doctors who tested my eyes for a new prescription for glasses did a good job. On top of all of that, good luck calling and getting the office. I called almost daily and only would get the general SightMD phone center and not the office and when they would connect me I would only ever get voicemail, would leave messages and no one got back to me. I must have called almost daily for the past 2+ weeks with no one getting back to me while I suffered with this eye infection. Disgraceful. Their office manager is very nice and tried to help, but she can't change that the doctors are bad or that the system with phone calls is ridiculous. Oh, and after my third appointment with a third doctor there, this time with Dr. Kasper, I went to the pharmacy to pick up the new eye drops he prescribed and after waiting on a very long line, the pharmacist was called to the front desk to tell me not to use them because they are part of an antibiotic class that I am allergic to. So, Dr. Kasper couldn't take the time to check that before prescribing it? Thank goodness the pharmacy caught it! I called the SightMD "central line" since you can't directly call the office and they call the doctor and call me back and he changed the RX to the original drops I already used from them that didn't work - nice! So now I have to find a new eye doctor and go through this entire process a fourth time. I do not recommend this practice, needless to say.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. He! The exam was thorough and all of my questions were answered. The wait time was minimal, and the visit was smooth and efficient. Dr. He’s professionalism and attention to detail inspired great confidence in my eye health. I’ll definitely return for my annual exams and highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking exceptional care!

The office is immaculate, efficient and very helpful. Dr Sabah Shah is an excellent Doctor. She took the time to explain everything and interns I could understand. She did not rush and patiently answered all my questions.

Dr. David Immanuel knocks it out of the park. Great Cataract Surgeon. Had both my eyes done with excellent results. Takes the time to explain the processes, makes you feel less anxious. A real professional in every sense of the word. I highly recommend Sight MD and Dr. David Immanuel 👍👍
