Adolescent Young Adult Medicine of Great Neck: Jonathan Trager, MD

New patient of Dr. Trager’s. Gave him my history and skin regimen. It works for me so I just asked him to prescribe the same medications for me that I have been using for over a decade. I discussed slight changes to my skin that I have noticed. He assessed my skin. There was no diagnosis but he did offer the medical spa services that could help with my slight skin concerns. I have already recommended family to visit him as new patients as they have serious dermatologic issues. Will have to see what they say. The wait wasn’t ridiculously long. I’ve stayed at my last dermatologist’s appointment an hour past my appointment time. Waiting 15 minutes past my appointment here was not an issue. I did have a co-pay. Their credit card machine was broken so had to pay cash, which they told me about prior to going to my appointment. The office - when it’s not busy - feels relaxing. I was so tuned into what I was watching that I was hoping I wouldn’t be called in. I don’t know how the office is when it’s busy though.

I waited in the office for 40 mins, and the we came to the patient room to see the doctor. After we are ready he told us he doesn’t feel comfortable seeing me. How rude and how unprofessional! Worst doctor visit ever!!!!!!!!

Dr. Trager is one of the best dermatologists I've been to over the last 9+ years. And believe me, I've been getting my skin looked after all my life for various reasons like eczema and allergies. I trust his expertise and he is always clear and concise with the regime prescribed. He is open to answering questions and I have always found him to thorough. Appointments are easy to make online or by phone and he's always on time. Super efficient. I bring my entire family to him for our skincare needs. His office is very neat and kept super clean; signage and samples displayed clearly - and the best part, there's no upselling for products or treatments. Even the waiting area aesthetic shows how he cares for his practice and his patients, very welcoming. I can recommend him without reservations.

This doctor is like a swiss army knife. He has so many specialties in multiple areas of medicine. I live almost an hour away from his office so I only take my family to him for issues that are more complex than a pimple. I wish he had an office in Suffolk county. I trust this doctor's judgment more than any other doctor on our family's roster.

most pathetic clinic to ever go to. rude receptionist and the dr doesn’t give a damn if ur ten mins late trying to find his office as a first time visit. do not go there
