Lamm Dermatology

I had an appointment two weeks ago with Dr Lamm. I was going to have a body scan and one spot biopsy. I had gown on, ready for scan. Dr did the biopsy then said that I have to come back for body scan in two weeks along with another biopsy on nose. I was already undressed and waiting for scan. He just wants me to keep coming back to make more money on me. I have arthritis and have difficulty getting around. Very upset with this doctor. I canceled my next appointment and will be seeing a different doctor. My husband just went to his dermatologist on Saturday and she took care of all of his issues in one visit! I’ll be going there from now on!

My family had been patients of Dr. Lamm for over 20 years so my wife made an appointment as a new patient at 5:30pm. We moved away and I would have to take off work early to drive there, so we called to confirm the appointment. There was traffic so we called to tell them we will be 10 minutes late. We arrived at 5:41pm in the office and the receptionist said the doctor has left for the day and displayed condescending false sympathy to our plight and even said "the doctor's not here, you want to check his office?" We complained how they should not have scheduled and confirmed an appointment if the doctor wasn't going to have time to see my wife and they responded how it would have just been quickly in and out -- they admitted that even for a new patient the doctor never intended to spend more than 10 minutes which includes the time to fill out the paperwork! Especially considering this is how the doctor treats a loyal family of patients I would never recommend this doctor again.

Obviously Dr. Lamm is okay with his office manager verbally attacking someone in his office. I would say that woman is out of her mind and out of control but Dr. Lamm is in charge of his own office. Myself, my mother, my sister, and my grown daughters will never, ever return to that office. The verbal abuse and insults were way beyond anything I have ever experienced in my 65+ years of life! Unfortunately like many previous clients who have commented, my daughter and I also endured the verbal abuse and condescending attitude of the office manager. She refused to give me her name. Had she simply contacted me, the insured, or filed the claim correctly on a timely manner there would have been no issue. Instead she decided to attack, and berate my college aged daughter who has no experience dealing with bully bill collectors who are verbally abusive. I informed her that I am the insured and on my daughter’s HIPPA. She is to contact me vis phone/ mail which she NEVER did. When hi apprised her of those facts she hung up on me. I never raised my voice nor cursed. I simply shared these facts. I decided to read the reviews and discovered my family is not the first to endure this woman’s abuse due to her incompetence.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Lamm for years. I was just recently refused to be seen because I am not vaccinated. I must say that I am disgusted with this decision. I will ensure that I will not recommend my friends or family to this practice based on this decision.
