Accent On Skin

My experience with Alex, the office, and the products have been a 10/10 every visit. I have received a hydrafacial and an oxygen facial and loved the results from both. On my first visit, I felt Alex really took the time to discuss with me my current skincare routine, what I had done in the past, what I was hoping to accomplish. I didn't feel rushed or that I was supposed to fit into an hour time slot. I also didn't feel like anything was forced on me- products or services. Because Alex was so knowledgeable and really took the time to explain the benefits of certain at home products, I was more than happy to purchase what was recommended. I have tried what feels like everything on the market and I finally feel like I have found my AM/PM regimen and have stable consistent skin. My skin is something I have spent the past few years investing a lot of time and money on, but the past few months since going to see Alex has been the most effective in getting to where I want my skin to be. The space is clean and comfortable and Alex is wonderful to work with.

I called to see if I could get a dark spot beneath my eye removed. The staff was friendly, and the consult when really well. The laser technician said she would zap the spot with a laser, and over the course of two weeks the skin would darken and flake off, removing the spot. The process would only cost $20-25, so I was happy. When I got to my appointment, the woman I had seen was not there, and the woman operating the laser seemed confused as to why I was there. After I explained, she zapped the spot, and they charged me $50, which was double my original quote, but at the time I though it’s still not too much as long as the spot would be gone. Two months later, the spot was still there, so I made an appointment to go back. This time, the woman did more zaps than the first time, and she told me that if it didn’t work, she would zap it with the PICO and that should work. They charged me another $50 the second time, which I did ask about. The woman at the front explained that sometimes it takes multiple rounds to get rid of things like this, and I had to pay for each round. It’s been three more months, and there is no difference in the dark spot. When I called to ask about the PICO, the woman who answered the phone said the spot is too close to my eye to “hit it with the PICO,” so I wasn’t a candidate for that, which I thought was strange since the technician was the one suggesting it in the first place, but even after discussing it with her, they both decided it couldn’t be done. I won’t make another appointment here because I would likely get multiple treatments costing hundreds of dollars with no results. Disappointment in the miscommunications and faulty information.

Not a great experience. They undervalue their services by offering a discount. The service was good, but overpriced for the ambiance
