truly abysmal customer service. I go here SOLELY because Dr. Weinstein is the best and helped diagnose me with something serious, but their reception staff couldn't be ruder or nastier. When I call (whenever someone chooses to actually answer the phone) and ask if Dr. Weinstein had availability, their response was "PROBABLY NOT". I wish Dr.Weinstein would leave this practice so I could follow her somewhere with pleasant employees.

This practice is attempting to bill my mother for a date of service that she has already paid for. Despite having paid for her appointment, South Nassau Dermatology has repeatedly sent her bills, claiming that she hasn’t paid, and recently sent a threatening letter indicating that she would be removed as a patient if she didn’t pay their bill (which she already paid for). This is all despite the fact that my mother sent them her bank statement, indicating that the service has been paid for. A complaint will be filed with the NYS insurance commissioner, as the billing department is engaging in fraudulent billing practices.

I unfortunately never right a review because of lack of time, but I felt that it was important to write this time. I’m writing about two women, Dawn and Caitlin who work at the front desk for South Nassau dermatology at the Long Beach location. These two women are without a doubt are the most helpful people I have ever dealt with. I’ve been a patient of South Nassau derm since 1984. I’ve had some some serious issues and still to this day must be seen in a timely matter because of an ailment. I automatically call The Long Beach office to see Dr. Eve Lowenstein ( The BEST by the way ). Dawn and Caitlin instantly get me in. No matter what day or time, they’ll make it happen. Not to mention their compassion for the patients is above and beyond anything I’ve ever witnessed . They treat each person as if it was there own family member !! I’m externally thankful for these women and of course my crackerjack Dr. Eve Lowenstein

First off this, this clinic is located on an Island. My appointment was at 2:30 and I called in advance to let them know that I would be a little late. The clinic is located on an Island which was connected by a closing/opening bridge. We were waiting on this bridge for a solid 15 mins and the total trip took more than an 1 hour. We have been waiting for 3 months to get an appointment because of COVID-19. We called in advanced and they still managed to cancel the appointment.

Not sure what the neg reviews are but the gal at the front desk was extremely nice & professional, as was the nurse assistant and I loved the Dr- Elie Lowenstein :)
