I’m pretty disappointed with this place. A few years ago, it was great, but lately, I’ve been having a recurring issue with communication. It feels like no one actually works here anymore. For the past month, I’ve been trying to get an appointment to have a spot on my face checked, but it’s been an endless game of phone tag. Every time I call, I have to leave a message because no one ever picks up. Then, they’ll call me back anywhere from 24 to 72 hours later, but I usually miss the call because I’m not expecting them to reach out. When I try to call back immediately, I’m back to leaving another message with no one answering. Last week, I called 8 times exactly 1 minute after they called. Nothing. To top it off, I recently received a letter saying they had tried to reach out. I guess? This is beyond frustrating.

First, I will say that I have had only good experiences with the providers. However, I think it's ridiculous that you have to leave a message and cannot talk to someone when you call. Also, in the past I made an appointment for an area on my eyelid. I told the person at the front desk my issue in detail. As soon as the doctor walked in she said they don't treat anything on your eye, and I had to go to my eye doctor. It was a total waste of my time and money.

I went there open minded. And after seeing a PA i felt as my problem I had was not felt with the proper care. My primary doctor did more for me than these people. I was rushed in and rushed out total appointment took 10 minutes. Just to have them through more creams at me that have not worked at all. I have been dealing with the issue for 4 months creams make things worse then they already where. I explain this too them and all I got was hmmm well I don’t know what else to give you. I’m going to have to consult with the doctor. Well shouldn’t the doctor have seen me first and not push me off to a PA. This place is a joke don’t go there nothing but bad reviews I had gotten before going there.

If you want to feel like your health and your voice are valued, I would not trust Saratoga Dermatology with your care. I unfortunately have been dealing with an issue since June this year and went to see Saratoga Derm for help. Since June I am no closer to having any answers as to why I am having the issue I am having. They have no availability for 6 + months so they then tell you to "utilize the portal" to ask questions and receive feedback, but then they do not answer you. Any suggested treatment they gave me made things much worse and they continuously minimized the issue. As someone that has been impacted by it for 4 months and spent a significant amount of money on recommendations from them, I am extremely disappointed and disheartened in my treatment by this practice.

Just walking through the front door is positive. Open space, soothing colors, and comfortable furniture are a definite plus. And the check-in staff are actually pleasant. A nice switch from most offices. Dr. Buhac was very informative, pleasant, and didn’t look at her watch once. Overall, a very impressive appointment!
