As of writing this review I am currently 8 days post op and I can easily say without a doubt that Dr. Blau and his incredible team have changed my life. As anyone with gynecomastia will know, living in a body that you feel doesn’t represent who you are feels so alienating and othering. The way my clothes look and feel has completely changed. The way my behavior and how I carry myself has completely changed. I have wanted to do this since I was 13 and now being almost 33 it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made and I am so glad that I found Dr. Blau. There were many years of questioning if this is the right this to do, to go through with plastic surgery. It took a lot of debating and convincing, both myself and my partner that it was, in fact the right thing to do. When I did decide to go through with the surgery I had a long waiting period (by choice as it fit better with my work schedule) from time of the consult to the surgery, that time of waiting was full of anxiety and anticipation that was more difficult to manage than the actual surgery and recovery itself. I found Dr. Blau in the summer of 2022 on TikTok and when I saw he was located in upstate New York, only an hour drive from the city, I knew he was going to be the one I wanted to do my surgery. After going through his portfolio, his skill and passion was evident and he was absolutely the right person I needed to find. Du. Blau is incredible. He answered all of my questions with confidence and clarity. His years of dedication and commitment to revising gynecomastia and his artwork shows. I never felt judged or uncomfortable. It was a quick, concise, and easy experience from the initial consultation, the surgery itself, to the post op appointments. I also read his book about gynecomastia and have never felt so seen and understood within the first few pages. Dr. Blau’s team, Trudy, Mary Ann and Dr. Spencer are so kind and welcoming. They made the whole process easy and enjoyable. I enjoyed getting to know them and am sad that I don’t get to hang out with them more often (maybe I need to get another surgery! haha!) Post op: the days after surgery were difficult to sleep as you have to sleep on your back (I’m a side sleeper). The swelling and bruising looks intense but doesn’t hurt that bad at all and I was able to manage easily with Advil (the sensation more tickled and felt numb but was fine). The thing that that was the most uncomfortable, which I think was caused by the anesthesia, was a pretty rough bloating spell, which with was fixed with Gas-X. For anyone on the fence, Dr. Blau is the best! I am so excited to see how things change for me 3 weeks to 3 months to 6 months post-op. Thank you so much and I will forever be grateful for this amazing experience!!!!

So I am writing this review for the second or third time because he keeps deleting my review. First of all, he doesn't fully take out the gynecomastia tissue. He leaves 95% of the gynecomastia tissue in the nipple. So, you will still have gynecomastia but it will be less noticeable. On my right nipple, he left a lot of gynecomastia left in there to prevent the chest from caving in. So, I had to go to a surgeon in NYC and he took out the remaining tissue. And guess what? my chest didn't cave in. So why blau couldn't take it all out in the first place is beyond me. ALSO A LOT OF THIS REVIEWS ARE MANIPULATED. Blau didn't beg me to a write a good review, but he really wanted me to write him a good review to the point where it came off as borderline begging. I write his stupid review which I now deleted and then he says "there is the guy on reddit who wrote a bad review on me, can you respond to it and say thats not true?" Point is it is just constant forcing to write a review when he didn't do a good job. You also go back for kenalog injections to break up the scar tissue supposedly but my other surgeon who is actually good said he found the kenalog injections built up in my chest. Blau is a complete joke and now I may have to get my left nipple redid because he left some gyno because he doesn't take out the full thing. The nurse, anesthesiologist, and front desk lady are very good though, its just blau who forces fake reviews and can't remove all the gyno because hes scared of your chest caving inwards, which won't happen if your surgeon is good. This review will probably get deleted like how he deletes the other ones.

Flew to a different surgeon and after 3 months developed some really bad scar tissue. Instead of waiting weeks and flying back, Dr. Blau and his staff were able to fit me in almost immediately for a kenalog injection which completely resolved the issue. He and his staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Very happy with my results.

July 11th 2023 is the day that changed my outlook for a first time in a long time. Suffering with Gyno for 15 plus years and being in my early 30's i finally pulled the trigger with the best possible team and doctor in the industry. Dr. Blau is kind, knowledgable and professional. Years of suffering ended within a few hours, only regret i had myself was not going earlier. Writing this review and showing my results to a friend motivated him to go get procedure done himself. Do not suffer any longer, while we have this great talent around go get it done. NO MORE GYNO!!! Finally freed my mind and just a better outlook on life.

I had a very pleasant and smooth experience with getting my surgery here. From initial consultation to post-op checkups, Dr.Blau and his team have always been there to ensure everything went well. I’m super happy with my results so far and I truly recommend Dr.Blau to anyone seeking Gynecomastia surgery.
