Everyone: I went to the Albemarle office of Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Being a new patient, I had no expectation of being seen that very day for an examination; however, the patient count was very low that day (now I know why). Based on my past experience and exams, I was sure that I had several skin cancers that needed to be frozen. Arriving just after their lunch hour, I was seen by Peter Dominick, PA-C; once he finished shoveling his sandwich into his mouth as I walked by the break room. I felt the urgency to visit this facility, since I was visiting a friend and my full-time dermatologist was about 3-hours away from my permanent residence and unable to secure an appointment within the unforeseeable future (2-4 months out). PA Dominick seemed more concerned about why I chose to visit their facility since I lived hours away. I think he must have thought I was a “secret shopper” or something. Anyway, I had to point out everything I was concerned about, as his examination left much to be desired. This visit was a total waste of my time, plus the $40.00 co-payment. If this post isn't posted, my next writing will be with the BBB.

I have been to this Albemarle office several times. The staff and doctors are very caring and professional. Always a pleasant experience. Kacie is great!
