My first visit was to determine if a spot on my ear needed attention. I had made an appointment with Erin Gray PA-C, who I was familiar with. She determined that I needed to have a surgical procedure done and gave me the various options from which I chose to have the procedure done there with Dr. Sheena Hill. Everything went well. I was impressed from the moment I arrived at their facility with the professional and courteous staff. They all were welcoming and friendly. Ms. Gray and Dr. Hill were excellent as was their immediate staff. I highly recommend Dermatology Specialists.

I visited DR. HAVERSTOCK for a couple of concerns, but my experience was extremely disappointing. From the start, she was CHEWING GUM throughout the appointment, which felt unprofessional and gave the impression that she wasn’t focused or taking my concerns seriously. When I asked for the name of my condition, she responded in a rushed and dismissive tone, saying, 'It’s hard for you to remember the name; I’m the doctor, and I know these names. You can check your report for details.' This response was not only disrespectful but made me feel unheard. One of my concerns was dry scalp, and she prescribed a shampoo that I mentioned I had already tried, explaining that it worsened my condition. Despite this, she didn’t seem to listen and insisted it was appropriate. For a particularly complicated dry spot, she told me dismissively, 'This dry spot will not go away completely and suggested using Vaseline, even after I explained I had tried numerous ointments and creams without success. If you are a doctor, you must try your best to solve your patient’s problem, not just say, without any effort, 'This will not be solved, put Vaseline if it helps you.' Additionally, she prescribed a medication that, upon review, turned out to be for treating swollen and red skin—issues I didn’t have. This mismatch further undermined my trust in her knowledge and recommendations. I left the appointment feeling frustrated and disappointed. Her KNOWLEDGE, in my opinion, is 0 out of 10, and her MANNER is equally POOR. She does not care for or listen to her patients. I will be seeking a different doctor who is professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to patient needs.

Needed Mohs surgery to remove a basal cell cancer with roots. Was offered scheduling at a skin surgery center or right there at Dermatology Specialists with Dr. Hill. She and her team were great! The lab is right on site to check margins after each excision.

On Monday 10-28-24, I had skin cancer surgery performed by Dr. Hill. Dr. Hill and nurse Grace took great care of me - Dr. Hill explained the complete surgery process before the surgery and my nurse Grace was excellent too, she explained the post op process and verbally explained how to take care of the surgical area. I received 5 stars care. Thanks Dr. Hill and nurse Grace for being such caring professionals!!! Perry V.

Saw Erin Gray, and she took excellent care of me. Facility is nice, and staff was pleasant. Got an appointment quickly. 1 year update: Have been in a bunch of times now, had so many moles cut off, and have not had to have stitches a single time. Really can't recommend this place and Erin highly enough.
