Bluewater Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center, PA

Dr. Braza performed MOHS surgery on my left cheek. My normal dermatologist referred me to Dr. Braza due to the location being on my face. I do not live in NC but the drive was worth it. He is very compassionate, skillful and takes the time to explain everything that he is doing. He called me that night to check how I was doing. Post care instructions were very clear. One of his assistants Madison did all of the prep and post surgery bandage, etc. She was very friendly, polite, caring and competent. The facility is state of the art and very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Braza and his practice.

I did not have a good experience. When it came time to take out the stitches from my mohs surgery on the side of my nose, the tech aggressively pulled on the stitch, after pulling two or three times she used another tool but still struggled. I was told not to add moisture, in hindsight I should have. I was left with a prominent lump on the side of my nose and my nose stayed much darker (because of the excessive novocaine) and numb for almost two years.

Dr Braza is amazing. Both cancer related or not. Bedside care is very warm and caring. I’ve used him both a positive biopsy and negative one. I won’t go anywhere else with skin cancer concerns

I just called the office to see if I could schedule a minor procedure. I could, but the Dr. is booked until April! The lady I spoke with on the phone was super nice... her name is Sandra. I expressed that I would really like to have an angry mole removed sooner rather than later... I'm sure she's really busy; but understanding I wanted something done sooner she took the time to give me a couple of other referrals that I could call and potentially get seen sooner. To be booked until April (It's August now), Dr. Braza must be really good. I may never know. But what I do know is that the office staff, specifically Sandra, is really nice and I would recommend this provider as they will actually care about and help people even if that person may never become one of their patients. Dr Braza removed a cancerous growth on my forehead. I was treated with the utmost care and concern by Dr Braza and his staff. His bedside manner is very reassuring and caring. He even called in the evening to see how I was feeling. Thank you Dr Braza and staff. Dennis Berthel
