Dr. Blanton is fantastic surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone wanting cosmetic surgery! He is professional and also personable. He answered all of my questions about the procedure itself and the recovery process without making me feel like my questions/concerns were dumb (which some of them undoubtedly were). Dr Blanton is my favorite surgeon in Raleigh! He is so talented and humble. His bedside manner is impeccable and warm. I visited two other local doctors prior to deciding to have my surgery with Dr. Blanton. As a breast cancer patient who underwent a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction my experience with Dr. Blanton was extremely disappointing and distressing. I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from going through the same ordeal. First and foremost, Specialists in Plastic Surgery made several medication errors that significantly impacted my recovery and well-being. These errors were not minor; they had serious consequences that delayed my recovery, causing unnecessary stress and prolonged pain. Additionally, I was told that my second surgery would be scheduled in three months however, I had to wait more than six months resulting in complications with my expanders. Worst of all, due to Dr. Blanton’s inadequate skills, I had to undergo a complete revision surgery a year later. This additional surgery was not only physically and emotionally taxing but also a reminder of the poor care I initially received. I strongly advise anyone considering Dr. Blanton for breast reconstruction to look elsewhere. My experience has shown me that his practice is fraught with errors, poor communication, and a lack of the necessary expertise to ensure successful outcomes. Please prioritize your health and well-being by seeking a more competent and compassionate surgeon.

Dr. Blanton is truly amazing! I had breast lift surgery no implants and boy was i amazed with the results! My breast look amazing and sit up and are so perky. I am extremely happy with the results and feel more confident than ever. The staff and Dr. Blanton are wonderful they made me feel really comfortable before surgery because I was really nervous. The night after my surgery Dr. Blanton called in to check and see how I was feeling and how things were going. The staff was helpful with answering any questions I had following my procedure. I will highly recommend Dr. Blanton he will not disappoint!
