Pinehurst Surgical Clinic - Sanford

The doctor and audiologist were fantastic, the rest of the staff were awful. I saw them earlier this year and the visit went fine, they referred me somewhere else for my issues, not a big deal. However, the new doctors office needed the audiogram from my visit here. I called the office in April to fax over my medical records to the new doctors office and this is how the conversation went Me: can I get these records over to new doctors office? Staff: yep Me: cool, here’s the fax number Staff: we have it Me: are you sure? Staff: yep. Me: can you tell me what number you have so we can verify it Her: we will send it over Me: okay… Fast forward to today (June 19) nobody sent anything to my new doctors office! I got bounced around between receptionists only to be told by the medical records lady that I have to a sign a release form and it’ll take 5-10 business days. I don’t have that much time, my appointment is next week and they need the notes before the appointment. I asked if I could just go in and pick up the records myself and she told me that that wasn’t allowed. When I pressed the lady asking why nobody told me this in April when I called she just said I don’t know. Then I was hung up on. I called back immediately only for the phone to ring and then go to voicemail. Absolutely awful office and staff. My only saving grace here is my audiologist in another office was able to send me my own medical documents.

My wife is currently 26 weeks pregnant and we’ve been seeing them since the beginning of our pregnancy on feb 29th the asked us to sign a medical release form because the practice was going through a transition. So we did. We didn’t hear back from them for weeks. We repeatedly tried calling them back to be seen since my wife is having a high risk pregnancy and was supposed to be seen every two weeks. All of our attempts was for nothing. We finally got in touch with them last week and they told us they still haven’t received our medical records. Come to find out they never sent in the release form. So we got that fixed and called them back and then they tell us that they can no longer see us because they are full. So now at 26 weeks pregnant we have to look for a new doctor. This is ridiculous. Very unprofessional. Definitely would not recommend.

During a post op visit for our daughter’s tympanostomy, the attending physician clearly had not reviewed any case notes, and didn’t exam her ears until prompted to do so. Pinehurst Surgical booked the second follow up, and when we arrived they informed us that they scheduled the appointment after our referral had expired, forcing us to obtain another referral from our primary care provider. They were apologetic for their error, but it is bad practice and bad business. Overall the procedure went well, but the professionalism of their practice is lacking.

Do not recommend, I was referred to this clinic from the VA. They nurse practitioner recommended labs being done, I completed the labs and then was hit with an almost $800 bill for this. They stated they didn't receive a referral for labs and therefore its my responsibility. Wouldn't you think they would tell you this PRIOR to having you complete the lab work? I tried reaching out for assistance as all I received was short answers that weren't helpful. I am supposed to go back her for a follow up in a few weeks but that will not be happening. Do not go here. They care about making money and not helping their clients/patients.

I had an appointment with Dr. Brener. His x-ray technician was very rude, disrespectful and very unprofessional. She insulted me. I reported it to the office manager, she was no help. She acted like she didn't want to be bothered. I would not recommend talking to to her. I won't ever go back there. The Pinehurst office is much better. The workers are helpful, kind a nd professional.
