Polley Clinic of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery PA

I don’t recommend this place to anyone, I have waited for my first time appointment for more than a month and on the day of the appointment I went in the office to check in while I have my 3 years old daughter with me. The receptionist said your daughter can’t be in the office unless she has an appointment, I said she doesn’t need to see the doctor I’m the only one who has appointment! She was like I can’t check you in unless you come alone and she was rude. Inside me I was like I’m not going to waste more time I already drove 40 minutes to the location. I responded “ fine” and I left my daughter with her dad outside and went back in to check in. She gave me paper to read and sign and asked for my social security # I told her I don’t have it she said “ if you don’t give it to us you will not be seen” I told her this is the first doctor office who denied to provide a service because the patient doesn’t want to give their social security # and you already have my state ID and and my insurance card!!!! She responded we need two sort of identification I said fine I can give you anything else but my social I can’t. She answered no we have to have your social in order to be seen because it private practice. A lady was waiting to be seen said I always see the doctor here and I never gave my social don’t believe it you should not give your social to anyone. I told the did you hear what she said and they started to get nervous the second receptionist said it’s our privacy and I will print out the papers for you to read I have included it here in the picture which is clearly say if a patient is not comfortable giving their social security # then the medical record + insurance card and ID are enough. I have seen doctors in many places and in different state and no one has insisted to have the SSN like this office they made me very upset and uncomfortable and I left without seeing the doctor. Please do your self a favor and look for a better professional place.

Dr was SUPER nice and explained my options and before I knew it, we were Done! Everyone was friendly, nice and respectful. I'm actually looking forward to going back and finishing my treatments. That's a First for Me! Lol. HIGHLY recommend! You won't be disappointed!!

We had a bad service, my daughter was treated for acne for more than a year and I never saw results, always the same medication, that doctor is not updated. Furthermore, she is not attentive nor does she really care about her patients. I changed my daughter to Holly Spring with her excellent dermatologist and then she had a change

There was an African American woman who was my nurse, she was kind and helpful, understood my situation and assisted to get my payment done, they understood my financials and will help you to get treatment that day or at some point in the future, if necessary. Things like that mean alot to people. God bless you, Polley Clinic of Smithfield, N.C. The Polleys will be proud of this our clinic here, always.

Came in for a physical exam left with very good news that I don't have any concerning issues. The doctor and her assistant was amazing. Would highly recommend their services.
