I was there for a complex new patient visit, and was required to outline my reason for visit on the intake form, to the person who walked me back, to the nurse/CMA who came in, and then to the doctor. After she described her plan of treatment, I asked if it would interact with any of my current conditions or medications - to which she seemed surprised to hear about - leading me to believe, had she reviewed any of the paperwork I filled out? Finally, 2 months after care, I received a bill in the mail that showed I owed the full amount - and that they had not even billed my insurance. I decided against calling her office, because I've been able to get on the phone with someone 1 out of every 5 times I've called, and went directly to the billing agency.

Dr Mathais is so wonderful and caring. She brought me back from going bald due to alopecia to having people comment on what beautiful hair I have. Strongly reccomend!

Dr. Matheis explains her findings/conclusions and asks pertinent questions. She is very empathetic. Upon learning of my concern that my second wide excision was scheduled for 10 weeks out, she immediately had her staff find a sooner appointment to assuage my angst. Her receptionist was friendly and helpful.

Short wait, examines thoroughly with amazing expertise, fast treatments and quick test results. 2 family members have trusted in her since 2010. She is a fabulous example of what a Dermatologist should aspire to. I couldn't be more pleased with her, her staff and the compassionate care I always receive.

She is the best. So kind and caring. She is very thorough. And really does a good job of taking care of you. Not many doctors call you in the evening to follow up to see how you’re doing after just minor little stitches. However, she does. She is always so happy and kind as is her staff.
