I don't think I can say enough how amazing this company was from the help desk to Wendy explaining line by line what is going on and how we're going to move forward. She gave me so much peace despite how stressed I was going in to my appt. I have been telling anyone I know don't walk but run to Your Wellness Center. Also - Wendy you were truly awesome. And I'm praying you have an amazing retirement. I truly can't thank you enough for what you've done for me after one visit. I finally have HOPE because of you.

This cautionary review pertains strictly to one category of patient: perimenopausal women. I struggled for three years with perimenopausal symptoms that gradually worsened, particularly insomnia. No doctor I saw would consider any form of HRT until I was fully menopausal. On the recommendation of a friend (one who is fully menopausal), I went to Your Wellness Center. I went in educated about perimenopause/menopause, but unknowledgeable about their methods. I was prescribed progesterone (which, in retrospect, I obviously needed and it's a travesty no doctor ever prescribed it until then), and testosterone pellets. I was told I would not be given estrogen until I was fully menopausal. Once pellets go in, they cannot come out and affect you for around 3-6 months (notice the very indeterminate timeframe—red flag number one). However, because I've enjoyed great health all my life, I figured my body would take anything in stride. I barreled ahead, pretty naive to how powerfully hormones affect, well, everything in your system. A year later, I am still dealing with the aftermath of that first and only pellet insertion. (I am still taking progesterone and found another doc to prescribe estrogen.) If you are perimenopausal, I beg you to find a practitioner that will address your symptoms conservatively to begin. Stay away from pellets; it is impossible to undo if something goes wrong. For those without complicated health situations, I would try one of the telehealth companies (e.g., Midi) that focuses on menopause.

I can not begin to express how amazed I am at the wealth of knowledge that the staff at this facility offers. Today I met Wendy, and despite being an RN, who knows a lot of physiology, I was floored at what I did not know. She described everything so thoroughly and with great clarity that all of my labs made sense and I completely understand why I have been feeling poorly. It is so good to know I am moving forward with a great treatment plan and not just taking medications as a bandaid for my symptoms. I have already suggested to family members to check it out for themselves!

I began my journey through menopause and HRT therapy at Your Wellness Center approximately 2 years ago. While I was happy with how the therapy alleviated my symptoms I was never really satisfied with the atmosphere being dark and almost unclean. The first NP was very friendly and explained what she was doing. However at my last visit I saw a new NP who had no compassion and was very rude. She did not even acknowledge goodmorning as I spoke to her when she rushed me into a room. I will not be returning. Ladies look around HRT therapy is great but there are much better locations and staff than what you will find here.

I am a postmenopausal woman that was treated with HRT at this facility. I was triple dosed and have been suffering for months with all the things that come with extremely high levels of testosterone. The physical symptoms of hair loss, weight loss and body hair. Mentally, I thought I was loosing my mind with extreme anger and outbursts and the inability to think clearly. I have had a breast cancer scare from lumps and pain in my breasts and now I’m having a lot of bleeding. My endometrium stripe has thickened and I am currently being biopsied for uterine cancer. Ladies, please consider carefully before having HRT pellets inserted at this facility. They cannot be removed and you’re in for the ride if done incorrectly. Also, I was in a lot of danger for blood clots unbeknownst to me until an obgyn oncologist schooled me.
