I have been to the ER twice and have nothing less than perfect experience from the gentleman at the front desk to every person who I encountered while there including the young lady that admitted me. Every single person was empathetic, compassionate with great personalities. The facility was as very clean as well! Would recommend this place to everyone.

I was in an accident and was transported to this hospital. (I had a broken bone) I was in excruciating pain, which was addressed and for that I am grateful. However, when taken back to get an X-ray, the nurse asked me if I could scoot over onto the bed for X-ray and I apologized and told her that I couldn’t. She then asked why I couldn’t just step down and get in the bed. I explained to her that they had been lifting me by the sheet to move me from bed to bed because moving hurt so badly. She then huffed at me and nastily said “Well it’s just me here.” I asked her if she could get some help. She got help and then despite being in pain she rushed through the X-rays like she just wanted to be done with me. Then she left me on the hard cold X-ray table to go get more help to move me again. I was sobbing asking if she could at least help me get into a comfortable position. She started talking to her coworker and wouldn’t help until I actually screamed at her to help me. Turns out I had a broken hip, which is why I couldn’t simply “scoot over” or “step down” into another bed. The best thing that hospital did was have me transported to a different hospital(which I asked to have done.) This hospital really needs to teach their staff to have some patience and grace when people have broken bones and are in unimaginable pain. Before that day I didn’t know what I sounded like screaming in agony, now I do. I didn’t deserve to be treated that way on one of my worst days.

While being treated for suspected parotitis, I had a turn for the worse with stabbing ear/head pains. The clinic sent me to the ER for a CT scan. At the ER, after multiple nurse interviews, the fourth interviewer a nurse practitioner diagnosed me with "uncooperative behavior" after 5 minutes. I was escorted off the property by security. I was in too much pain to communicate well. I told her I had pink pus coming from my ear and asked her to review my chart and history before prescribing, as I'm on antibiotics. She refused to read my chart, exam me, or treat me. I missed the desperately needed emergency CT scan. Now I have to wait for insurance approval from a regular doctor's order, delaying treatment. Her uncooperative, impatient behavior for someone in crisis was dangerous. I'm still undiagnosed, and treatment is delayed indefinitely due to her actions.

The place is so nice and clean. All the clinical staff, nurses, and providers were amazing! They were super nice and worked quickly as a team to help find out what was going on and treat me. I would definitely recommend my family and friends coming here first for any urgent needs. Thank you GCMC for you care 🥰

The physicians, nurses and staff here are absolutely amazing! I've been to the emergency department, as well as the cardiac department. Everyone was super friendly, professional, and very pleasant. I highly recommend this hospital; if you Have to be at one, this is one of the best!
