This has to be one of the worst experiences at any doctor's office. First off, they need to provide some basic customer service 101 training to their billing person "Mary", who was extremely rude and dismissive of my question regarding the amount shown on my statement. She clearly could not care less and went out of her way to be unnecessarily aggressive and disrespectful on the phone, telling me to "figure it out" in response to my question about the amount. I told her to kindly stop interrupting me aggressively so I could finish my statement and she responded childishly with "whatever". I then asked to speak to her manager to raise my concerns with her behavior, to which she pretended to transfer me but kept me on hold throughout. In terms of the actual doctor's visit, it's a very bizarre experience too in that they do not allow you to bring up more than one concern. God forbid you have more than one issue going on, they make you book a separate appointment to discuss that. Clearly they are more interested in squeezing every dollar out of you by making you pay separate visits for separate questions. And mind you this was not just for me but my two young kids. Stay away from this awful place.
ETA: I have spoken with the new manager of this office and she assures me that all of the staff who gave me such terrible treatment were all fired. My issues were rectified, and I no longer have any complaints. Dr Radloff truly seemed to care about clearing my skin, and if the office wasn't over an hour away, I would return there. If you're looking for an office who will have you waiting to be seen an hour after your appointment time (even though you arrived early), won't answer the phone, won't return your messages, and won't submit proper forms to insurance, then you've found the right office!
10/10 – I’d give more if I could! Dr. Radloff and her assistant were amazing. This was my first visit to a dermatologist and I was a bit nervous, but they made me feel so comfortable and answered all my questions. If every doctor were this efficient, life would be easier. Highly recommend!
I’ve been going to DOCS for years and have seen several of their dermatologists. I had an issue recently where I wanted to schedule an appointment. The phone rings and rings… goes straight to voicemail. I leave a message and no one calls me back. I did this for 3 days, finally I called early at 7:45am and get someone. I get informed I have a small balance that needs to be paid before I can schedule an appointment. I offer to pay the balance right then and there… no I need to get forwarded to their billing department. I sit on hold for 15 mins, pay the balance, and tell the woman in billing how frustrated I am that they don’t call me back. I get off the phone, wait an hour and call back their scheduling. First call goes straight to voicemail after ringing several times. I call back and get the same woman as before but the lock hasn’t been lifted. If you don’t want my business just say so. Not calling me back is unprofessional and I’m not going to stay with a dermatologist I can’t even get on the phone after multiple days.
I had high hopes for this dermatology office as this was my first dermatology appointment, and I had waited months for it. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. When I was seated, the assistant asked what I wanted to be seen for. I mentioned both acne (which I had been tracking with photos for weeks) and a couple of spots I wanted evaluated. However, I was told I could only choose one or the other due to “time constraints,” even though I was on time for my scheduled appointment. This policy felt dismissive and unaccommodating, especially for someone attending their first appointment and hoping for comprehensive care. I was left feeling unheard and rushed. I can’t recommend this office based on my experience.
