I scheduled my consult with Dr. Brenner to discuss cosmetic cleanup of my labia minora and perineum due to age and child birthing issues I also asked if she felt vaginoplasty was a better option over perineumplasty After my examination Dr Brenner confirmed I was a candidate for vaginoplasty although I was not complaining of the inability to feel my partner. She explained thoroughly how invasive the surgery would be and what to expect post-op. After discussing it with my partner I decided to go ahead with the vaginoplasty and labiaplasty minora. On the day of my surgery I was greeted by Stephanie who answered any questions or concerns about the procedures and she made me feel at ease about my own female anatomy I personally think as women we can be very critical and make unfair comparisons /assumptions. Dr. Brenner greeted me warmly when she came in to perform the surgery. I have pretty severe anxiety and I was very impressed that both Stephanie and Dr. Brenner ensured I was relaxed and at ease prior to her beginning the surgery. I can honestly say I have never had a better experience medically or received higher quality care in my life. The surgery was painful as described, however the medication prescribed was sufficient to keep the pain to a minimum. I will say the 2 week bedrest was extremely important in the healing process. I am 9 weeks post op and I am ecstatic with the results and so is my partner! Considering the type of surgery I had a fair amount of fear and anxiety built up about the appearance after, and if I would have a loss of feeling or the ability to have an orgasm, enjoy sex etc. I am so happy to report I am at a pre childbirth state internally and externally. I am so happy I chose Dr. Amy Brenner to this surgery over a plastic surgeon. The skill and care from Dr. Brenner and her staff along with the transparency is the reason I believe my results are what they are. If you are considering any type of gynecological cosmetic surgery I highly recommend Dr. Amy Brenner. You will not receive better care or experience! I didn't feel like a patient. Her bedside manner made me feel like I was a friend, or family member and the results are outstanding!

Felt welcomed the second I walked in. Friendly office staff, coach/nutritionist, Kilie, and Dr. Amy and the lady who did my blood draw(sorry,I cannot rember her name). I can't wait to start my weight loss program. Kilie Winter was amazing and explained the weight loss program well. I am confident that I am in competent hands.

I sought out care from Amy Brenner's team as they are listed as specialists in women's sexual health, and had read great things about Dr. Brenner. I had been to 2 previous practices (PP & Kettering Health) prior to seeking them out. I saw Jennifer Thieman on 01/15/2024. She did not feel the need for repeated swab tests, as I had had several in the months prior to seeing her that were all negative. Which I appreciated, however, when asked if there were any other tests we could do outside the norm, I was told there were not. I am deeply dissatisfied with the way I was treated, and lack of knowledge displayed. She did at least confirm that it "did not look like LS", as was suspected as a possibility from a previous UroGYN. I had shared my concerns with her of the possibility of having AV (Aerobic Vaginitis) or CV (Cytolytic vaginosis), to which she replied by laughing at me and advised those were not a thing. She refused to even look at the research studies I had printed, showing why I believed this as a possibility. There are even notes in my chart stating "She has done a lot of on-line research to find answers. Pt states her vulvar and pelvic symptoms are destroying her quality of life. She is also terrified that taking probiotics will increase Lactobacilli associated with BV". This is incorrect as Lactobacillus overgrowth is not associated with BV; it's associated with CV. The lack of Lactobacillus can result in other infectious bacteria to thrive. She should know this. From there she recommended a double surgical vulvar biopsy, took pictures, and sent me on my way in tears with a $250 bill. Well, fast forward several months, and I finally found someone who was willing to listen and was able to test me for this at Wright State. Turns out I did in fact have Aerobic Vaginitis caused by enterococcus faecalis, and Escherichia coli. I suffered needlessly for several months because of her lack of knowledge and care. Aerobic Vaginitis (AV) affects between 7-12% of women in the United States, meaning it is considered a relatively common but often underdiagnosed vaginal infection; with some studies reporting a prevalence as high as 23%. Cytolytic vaginosis (CV) affects around 1.7% to 16.3%. of women, however, some studies suggest that the actual percentage may be higher because CV is often misdiagnosed as a yeast infection. My concerns were ignored, I was not taken seriously, and If I had proceeded with her recommendation I would have gone through a surgical procedure in a very sore and delicate place for no reason. Now they are threatening to send me to collections for this bill. I mentioned my dissatisfaction to the poor girl at the front desk at the time; but she just apologized and said nothing could be done. I'd give zero stars if I could.
