I’ve been going to Elaine for almost 5 years. I have PCOS and dark (African descent) skin. Her laser and facial services helped remove the course facial hair and lightened the hyperpigmentation. My skin (jaw/chin/cheeks) is so smooth and more even than when she started. She offers affordable al a carte rates without making you commit to a treatment package which has made treatment accessible. It’s one thing to have unwanted hair under your arms or on your legs but when it’s on your face and you’re a woman it’s more than a cosmetic issue, it’s a mental health issue. I have told her to keep herself healthy because I don’t know what I would do without her. I have referred a coworker with similar issues and highly recommend this spa for Black and Darker Skinned Women seeking affordable laser services.

Genuinely a great laser tech but terrible people skills. I wear a mask for my chronic diseases and the tech spent an entire appointment telling me not to wear it. If I don't wear the mask, I'll get sick and die, so I'm going to keep it on.

Warning! Unfortunately it was the worst experience for me and I’m not a stranger to medical spas. I was given very little information about my treatment. The appointment was very rushed and also there were no mention about a male doctor attending the procedure. I was left with scars that didn’t heal after 4 months. It looks like some of them I’ll be keeping for the rest of my life. I contacted the spa and Elain promised to send me a refund, that I never received. Definitely the most unprofessional experience. Update: the owner did refund me after seeing this review.
