Van Wert Medical Services

I just had a hip replaced and there was great staff very professional and Pleasant. The inpatient doctor was great and the PT staff were great. I’ve been in a lot of hospitals and this hospital is as good as any and better than most. I guess I have nothing but great things to say

I had a Physical Therapy eval today and an A1c at the lab. The PT staff are very good, thorough, and personable. The lab desk clerk was nice, friendly and helpful. The phlebotomist was fine until I asked her to use a butterfly needle. Then she copped an attitude and told me they try not to use those unless they have to because they are more expensive.

They have saved my wife's life several times. She is currently in the hospital and once again they have stepped up to do their best to find out what is wrong. I know she is in good hands. They answer my questions and best of all the listen to what I tell them. Too many Doctors wan to dismiss anything their patients say because they have a degree. Not the people taking care of my wife. They listen.

My wife and I moved to this area and began using the services of Dr. Jarvis and Nurse Practitioner Christine Ulrich nine years ago. It's hard to realize how quickly this time has passed, but we have enjoyed a positive relationship with this medical office staff. Both Dr. Jarvis and NP Chris appear to be extremely thorough and professional in their conduct (this from a retired hospital administrator). Christine in particular has treated and guided this writer through several medical events so far. I can only recommend Van Wert Medical Services to the reader.

I have been in contact with them since January on a $10.00 payment that wasn't posted to my account in December, 6 times on the phone and one time in person to take a copy of my check... I'm still receiving a bill. I took copy of check out February 12th. I left a message with office manager last week and still have not been called back.
