Dr. Erik Nuveen, MD, DMD

Run run this is a train wreck waiting to happen. I almost died from the procedure he performed. Blood infection from dirty tools and one implant was torn when they put it in. I did iv antibiotics for two months. I’m left with horrible scars that I have to look at every day in the mirror. I went in for a revision and a lift. Needless to say I have no implants in and I’m trying to work on my scars and mental health. Asking Dr Nuveen about it he was discussed at how I felt at what happened to me. Not much care in the form of concern. I would 100 percent run from this place. Just not a totally clean place.

Would not recommend Dr. Nuveen. He is very kind, intelligent, and has great bedside manner. He will make you feel completely at ease, BUT, this would be ill advised. Had a routine, minor procedure done last year. It completely ruined my face, and left me worse than I was before. I didn’t even see Dr. Nuveen at my follow up appointments, but rather, his nurses. After a few months, I requested specifically to see him so he could look at what he’d done. He immediately agreed that it was not ideal, and to keep waiting because it would improve. He took no responsibility for anything. Here we are a year later, and I’ve seen 2 other plastic surgeons for second opinions. They have both separately agreed that Dr. Nuveen messed up something that should’ve been easy, and it would take another surgery to fix. I’m very annoyed that I had to suffer through a year of looking botched, and to have my surgeon virtually absent from the follow up. I think he is a wonderful man, and greatly enjoyed talking to him. But after speaking to other surgeons, it’s clear he does not have the skill to be operating on these women. Avoid at all costs.

Scheduling the consultation was quick and easy, surgery was scheduled less than 2 weeks later. I was extremely anxious with fears of the “unknown” after hearing other people’s experiences with breast augmentation in general I was hesitant but I knew I wanted this procedure done. Dr. Nuveen was the most professional, soft spoken, understanding and comforting doctor I have ever met in my entire life. He made me feel so reassured that the procedure was going to be quick and easy, his staff is the most friendliest and comforting staff I have ever had the pleasure to be taken care of by. Had to have another surgery less than 24hrs later due to a hematoma but Dr. Nuveen took care of it immediately and I felt so much better. I highly recommend his practice to anyone wanting work done to their body, wanting to gain more confidence or just wanting a more youthful appearance. You will not be disappointed going here, I will always recommend Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates to anyone wanting work done. Thank you once again Dr.Nuveen and the rest of his office for such an amazing experience!

Dr. Nuveen went above and beyond my expectations. My body was being difficult so I have had 2 revision surgeries. He never made me feel like I was being difficult for having to repair my issues. He has great bedside manners and made sure to be available for my at any time I needed him. He also has a great staff that were so helpful and attentive. I'm so glad that I chose him as my surgeon. I highly recommend him!

This is my second surgery with Dr Nuveen and once again him and his staff were absolutely AMAZING!! The nurses are so sweet and down to earth which made me feel so comfortable. They were professional but also fun to cut up with like we were friends and I wasn’t just a patient. The 5 hour drive is so worth it, I would never have any cosmetic surgery anywhere else!!
