Throughout the first six months, I constantly reached out to nurses and texted my doctor, expressing my concerns. However, I started to believe that perhaps I needed to give it more time to heal and transform into what it was supposed to be, based on the information I read. However, even after three years, I find myself utterly disappointed with the results of my breast augmentation and lift. It's not about them not matching my vision; it's about them not being what they should be. When I finally went back to the clinic, they revealed that my breasts had sagged prematurely due to the elasticity of my skin. They looked a decade older than they should have. Moreover, my breast implants feel unnaturally stuck to my chest, leaving me with a persistent feeling that something is amiss. During the initial consultation, I was assured that the implants would be placed underneath my muscles. Now, I question if that was truly the case since they feel hard and have an unusual appearance. My natural breasts hang beneath the implant, resulting in a visible lump at the top. It seems like my left breast is on my right side, making me question if my nipples were misplaced as well. The overall outcome feels deformed, and the lack of attention and assistance from the clinic leaves me disheartened. I can't express enough how this experience has affected me. I feel disfigured and insecure, unable to even remove my shirt around my husband. I resort to wearing baggy clothes and sports bras to hide them. Despite being an outgoing and resilient individual, I feel like the surgery was incomplete, lacking the dedication and skill it should have had. It pains me to realize that I will have to live with this for the rest of my life. After expressing my concerns repeatedly, I was finally informed that a revision was possible, but it would cost me around $4,000 to $5,000. This amount is equivalent to the original surgery, which included both a lift and augmentation. Paying again for something that should have been done right the first time feels unjust. I have received no reassurance or support throughout this ordeal, despite investing over $8,000. Additionally, I find it puzzling that my breasts have become flabby within a year, despite fluctuations in weight not affecting other areas of my body. I can't help but wonder if there was an error during the surgery, or if there is another underlying cause. My experience unfolded during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sadly, I was made to feel as though I had waited too long, and the clinic seemed to dismiss my concerns. Yet, I had been earnestly expressing my distress, desperately seeking understanding and assistance. My purpose in sharing this heartfelt review is to raise awareness among other women about the potential risks and disappointments of breast augmentation. I implore you to find a doctor who genuinely cares and is committed to rectifying any issues that may arise.
