NEPA Community Health Care

Tried coming for both physical and psychiatric care. Psych refused to prescribe what I was stable on, and an arbitrary 2 week waiting period is required for medical care. The clinicians are fine, but their office policies are so burdensome that in one case I ended up needing to pay out of pocket somewhere else, and in the other, the wait for me to get the ability to breathe was two weeks, not due to a lack of appointment, but arbitrary wait times. A community asset burdened by so much red tape that it can't help people who need it. A full overhaul of policies and management needs to be enacted; the issues are systemic. Greenfield office has none of these problems. I got a root canal faster than this office can prescribe an inhaler. Truly abysmal.

The doctor that my son was seeing there did not seem to care about his well being. She was always quick to get the appointment over with and did not offer much help on the situation. I understand that they have a policy where they can not see you if you are 10 minutes late. I had an early appointment, we had a flash flood watch, the road to get there was closed and it took us some extra time to get there. We were 11-12 minutes late. They did not see us. I explained why we were late and it didn’t matter. No one else was waiting in the office. No other patients were even there. If that doctor or people in that office cared about my son then I would think it wouldn’t be a big deal. It shouldn’t be policies over patients.

I scheduled testing months ago and took off work to have it done. When I arrived they told me I was in fact not getting the testing done. They did not have anyone there that could draw blood is what they told me. They sat me down and talked to me for 10 minutes and rescheduled me so they could bill my insurance twice. Last week I went down to get lab work done again and was informed that since I had taken medication within the last 12 hours I could not get it done. Nothing was said to me when I made the appointment. Could have easily been avoided.

All of my health needs are met here! Doctor, gyno, mental health, and dental (montrose & greenfield). It's easy and quick to make appointments, the staff is nice and helpful, and appointments are quick, precise, and simple! Definitely glad to be going here for my needs.
