Dr. John Potochny is very knowledgeable! He explained everything in details to me. I'm very pleased with my treatment/treatment plan. I know I'm in good hands with Dr. John Potochny and the Esteem team, thank you !
I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Walen. Right from the beginning, through to my last visit with him - he was, without question, THE best "doctor experience" I've had. I went to him for a neck procedure. I was upfront with what I wanted - or what I did NOT want... He listened to me, and told me what he would do, based on what I'd told him. His proposal was sound, and I moved forward w. the surgery. His work was EXPERT (fellow doctor friends of mine are equally impressed!) Exactly what I wanted. Dr. Walen was caring - his pre AND post surgery interactions were fantastic. He was there (via texts/e-mail) whenever I had a question. He alleviated any concerns. I cannot say ONE negative thing about my experience. A++
Dr. Mackay really takes time to listen to his patients needs and concerns. He doesnt treat you like another paycheck. He talked to me throughout the whole process, comforted me, and made sure my mental and physical needs were met. He did an amazing job on my rhinoplasty and I cant imagine anyone having done it. He is genuinely a great talented doctor who cares about his work The associates were also very kind and helpful
I nearly died after Jessyka Lighthall operated on my broken nose. I got pneumonia & sepsis bc of her poor standards. Lighthall didn’t give a damn. Lighthall forced my family to take me in a wheel chair outside her office in December, it was freezing cold, because of her fear I had covid (it was sepsis). What doctor cannot recognise Sepsis?! Lighthall charged me several thousand pre operation for “cosmetic” surgery saying I had to pay to secure a surgery date. But my insurance actually paid for the surgery. I was in perfect health and just finished cycling 1000 miles prior to dealing with this miscreant. I reported her to PA medical licensing board, but Lighthall "lawyered up" and the State did nothing to stop her. I would never send anyone to Jessyka Lighthall. Truly a malevolent, self centred surgeon. I was near death, spent one week in hospital fighting for my life to recover from the sepsis she caused through the surgery.
I would like to share my honest experience. First impression was great. Dr. Weller is very eloquent but all talk poor results in my case. After my first lower blepharoplasty, I saw absolutely no changes and the recovery was so swift as if I didn’t even have surgery. So on my follow up, I practically had to beg for a second procedure that Dr. Weller adamantly tried to talk me out of but ultimately agreed to proceed with. The results of the second procedure was better, at least I was able to see some sort of difference after recovery but, fast forward 3 months, the skin below my eyes became more relaxed and the results started to diminish leaving minute changes. My follow up on the second procedure lead me to an appt with another doctor within the practice, Dr. Walen. This Dr. literally tried to make it seem like I had issues with allergies, I kept saying I don't have allergies and if I did so in the past, it was itchy eyes. He's very condescending and felt the need to boast, telling me I've been seen by two highly skilled doctors who's done many of these types of procedures. At one point he said that I was being confrontational during a phone call when I was trying to get a word in while he kept talking. So basically I'm supposed to believe everything they say because they're highly skilled?! Very manipulating. I know my face well enough to know that the results from my second procedure left little changes and I tried to convey this but the doctor told me “sorry you had great expectations” when I simply have “standard expectations”. I believe that my eyes could have been done better. Another thing I want to mention is that I did receive a phone call from someone at Esteem who tried to mediate the situation but according to her she did not even review my before and after pictures. You would think that if someone were to mediate, they’d do some due diligence before calling you about your concerns. The fact that they didn’t, shows how bias they are and wasn’t concerned at all about being fair or helpful. In conclusion, I was told that I signed a consent form and on it, states that I may not get the desired results (something to that effect). So I walked away not getting what I paid for. Yes, I’m aware I can actually do more then just sit back and accept this and signing a piece of paper is not gonna protect them if I have ample evidence. But instead I’ll take it as a loss and move on. Though I feel ripped off and upset about the unfair outcome, I’m not going to waste anymore time on this. What a disappointment and horrible experience!!
