This is the third time this is happening now. My visit in October 2024 with my PCP here was an annual health check-up. I had made sure that this was selected as an annual health check-up because billing had charged me earlier as well, saying that it wasn’t selected as an annual health check-up. Annual checks are included in my insurance, and I do not need to pay for anything out of pocket. And then I got a bill saying this wasn’t an annual check but billed as an office visit, and my blood work was also billed similarly with an office visit code. When I reached out to billing, they said I had asked my PCP questions outside of my annual. I had told the provider that this is an annual health check-up and to keep it that way, and only when they asked did I talk about any other concern. And now they don’t even reply to my messages on billing. This is purely a scam, and I have read multiple times from reviews all across that you guys are doing this. I will never go back here again.
I saw Dr. Jasty in June of last year. She dismissed my positive ANA & protein in my urine, wouldn’t schedule more testing, or appointments despite my family history of lupus & symptoms. I now go to a different office and have just been diagnosed with lupus & POSSIBLY sjogrens. She lacked compassion and the knowledge to do further testing, unless I was just discriminated against for having Medicaid insurance. Whatever the case may be, I now have a diagnosis that she MISSED, and am now being treated for.
Terrible…. We have had our family doctor at this location for a long time. In August, I called to make an appointment, and they told me that our family doctor no longer works there. I was shocked. I asked why we weren’t informed, and they apologized. Then, they said they could transfer us to a new family doctor. I agreed, and they said they could give me an appointment for the first week of September with Dr. Ameer Musa Ajaj. I accepted, and we scheduled the appointment. Later, they called to say they needed to change the appointment. I agreed, and we rescheduled. Due to my own commitments, I had to change the appointment again. Today, you call me saying that you can accept me as a new patient but not my husband. I thought it was a joke. I didn’t take it seriously at first. The gentleman on the phone said, “Let me ask the doctor if he can accept your husband,” and put me on hold. When he came back, he said, “Unfortunately, we cannot accept your husband.” I was truly shocked. I’ve never seen or heard anything like this before. Our family doctor leaves, and we have no idea about it. You transfer us to a new doctor, but we can only get an appointment one month later. And then, close to the appointment date, you call and tell me that you can accept me but not my husband? It’s unbelievable. This is truly upsetting. For an institution like Main Line to handle things this way is unacceptable. I don’t know how you are going to resolve this. On top of that, the gentleman on the phone gives me advice, saying, “You can go to other branches!” Thanks for the suggestion, as if I didn’t know that already!
It’s unbelievable. Our family doctor is leaving the practice, and we only find out by chance while booking an appointment. We were told our doctor no longer works there. The lady on the phone apologized and said she could transfer us to another doctor. We agreed and made an appointment with Dr. Ameer Musa Ajaj for a month later. A week before the appointment, a gentleman called my wife, informing her that the doctor could see her but not me. I asked, “How is this possible? We’re a family, and we transferred to a family doctor.” When I questioned if this was a joke, he said, “Let me ask the doctor if he can see you.” After waiting for two minutes, he came back and said, “I’m sorry, The doctor said he doesn't accept new patients. “ I'm not a new patient. If the doctor quit, is it my fault? You have to refer me to another doctor. I am a patient of this center. Can you believe this? I’m truly shocked and upset. Is this supposed to be a health center?
Looking for a new primary care doctor, so I chose one here. The building was nice and the people were nice, but the doctor was super fast with my examination. Took about 3 minutes and he began ushering me out before I even got to ask any questions, so I had to ask him to come back into the room to discuss some health concerns. They offered to do optional bloodwork, and that I could get it done at my lab or there and they would both be covered completely by insurance, until I got a $100 bill a few says later that they forgot to mention. Sat on over an hour hold waiting for someone to pick up the phone on a Tuesday afternoon. Main Line seems much more focused on profit than caring about their patients and their health. Edit: Tried calling the billing department as the business said to do below. They said it’s not their problem but my insurance’s, which was not true. I asked to speak to a manager and they said I’ll get a call as soon as one is available. It has been almost 3 full days since they said that, and no sign of a call. Edit 2: 9 months later and just got a call that they decided not to waive the fee. They said the practice had made the decision that it is my fault that I did not know my insurance limitations and that I should have gone to my primary lab. I specifically asked if this was covered and was told it was by the physician, but now I'm told the physician does not have any authority to make that call.
