Farber Dermatology

Was a patient years ago and decided to change dermatologists to get another perspective from a different doctor. Once I switched dermatologists I finally started seeing results and realized I had been scammed for years here. Waiting time was minimum half an hour long just for him to pop in the room and speak to you for 3 minutes, always had me schedule appointments every 3 weeks constantly trying different products not giving enough time to see if they’re actually making a change. One time one of his staff gave me a treatment (an injection) and told my mother and I it was at no cost until a couple of appointments later they charged $120 on top of the co-pay and claimed it was for that treatment which I didn’t even ask for. Please save your money and time, I can’t believe this office is still up and running taking advantage of vulnerable patients.

My experience with Dr. Farber was nothing short of excellent as always. I had two moles removed by a wonderful experienced dermatologist. He was kind and thorough as well as very professional. You can be certain your in good hands and get the best treatment and his nurses and staff were also nice, helpful and knowledgeable of there work.

I am truly grateful for meeting my dermatologist and seeing how caring and attentive she was to my cry for help with my psoriasis. I am so happy with my results. It is good to meet a doctor that shows compassion. She listen and cared about your need's. I am so grateful. Thank you!

I am shocked by these bad reviews. Had a rash on my shin for 2 years (very discouraging) went to see Dr Farber 2x. 1st visit did biopsy, 2nd visit ordered the appropriate medicine. I referred my husband and he has NO complaints. (Which is no small thing)

I stopped going to Dr. Farber a long time ago. He would always overbook so he could see as many patients as possible and he would tell all of his patients to come back in a few weeks for follow-ups, regardless of the condition. By sitting in his waiting room you'll see a pattern of patients making their follow-up appointments in 3 weeks. He's done it to me every single time & they were unnecessary. He also did many biopsies that were unnecessary. Almost every time I'd walk into his office he would want a biopsy. Not sure what would have changed in 3 weeks. Between the copays, medications, and fees for biopsies, I had the impression he was in it only for the money. It's extremely disappointing that he's untrustworthy.
