The Aqua Experience is a sensational experience that will make you feel amazing! I felt like I was transported into another world where I could be at peace while being pampered by a caring professional who made me feel safe, comfortable, and above all, relaxed. Helaina had a very welcoming presence that was polite and made me feel at ease. She performed the Aqua Experience with care and expertise. This was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend. The Swarovski crystal ceiling is dazzling and mesmerizing. All the elements of the experience created a very intoxicating feeling for me. The decor is so peaceful and tranquil and the place is clean! I loved every moment of being here. The staff help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My partner also enjoyed the experience and ended up snoring more than once. Mia performed his treatment and he was very pleased with her. It was a birthday present for him but I really gave a gift to myself as well. The experience was worth the splurge to me. We will definitely be back!

I decided to celebrate my birthday with a first-time experience, and I couldn’t have chosen a better way to do it! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was top-notch, and the entire experience felt special. Mia was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. She made sure every detail of my visit was perfect, from offering a refreshing drink upon arrival to ensuring I was comfortable throughout my aqua experience. Her knowledge of the treatments and willingness to personalize recommendations showed her dedication to excellent service. With a calm and friendly demeanor, she added to the relaxing atmosphere, making my spa visit feel truly special. I will be back soon! Thanks again

Do NOT do the Turkish bath/Aqua Experience. The 2 stars is for the women working here as they’re lovely. However, the Turkish bath itself - was not a valuable service. For paying $200, I got roughly 35 minutes of service. Originally I was told the whole experience should be ~1.5 hours, with the bath itself 60 minutes. Of note I got there late by about 17 minutes, but was still supposed to get the full service. When I mentioned I was surprised the service was so short, I was told they factor in time to clean the room which is odd Not to mention, the service is a simple 6-7 step process that you can actually manage on your own. Ive been to many spas so I know what a valuable body treatment is, and Ive gotten a similar service. All in all, I won’t be recommending or returning here. Away spa at the W is a better experience

I thoroughly enjoyed my spa experience at Joseph Anthony at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia. Everyone was so nice & friendly from the time I entered until the time I left. And Helaina…omg she is AMAZING! She’s very good at what she does & her beautiful, welcoming smile is an added extra. I definitely recommend Joseph Anthony Spa & Helaina at the Loews Hotel if you’re looking for an exquisite spa experience.

The aqua experience had the potential to be amazing and the staff were incredibly kind, so I feel bad for giving 3 stars, but unfortunately that’s what my experience deserves. First of all, the head rest on the table was slipping the entire time. I probably had to adjust it 10 or more during the hour. I was very confused as to why it kept slipping and at one point the attendant asked what was wrong. I explained the head rest would not stop slipping and she adjusted it for me, but did not solve the problem. It was only after the Turkish bath was over that I was able to see what the problem was. The Velcro that usually holds the head rest in place was soaked and unusable. Also, I was scalded by the hot water twice by the attendant. Not totally blaming her, but boy did it hurt and ruined any relaxation I had achieved. Overall, not the most relaxing experience. I chose this spa because of the reputation, so I am pretty disappointed in the quality, especially since it was not cheap. They gave me cookies and a mimosa at the end which did lift my mood. Manager, please fix the headrest for future guests!!
