Awesome experience. The first time here felt at home, completely relaxed, and I had a small process done left with 3 stitches. I didn't even feel great, place very professional, and the staff was a Stella 10 star's starπππππππππππππ
I wish I could give Zero stars. Like many of the other recent reviews, my experience was that the front desk and manager in this office are the most unprofessional and rude people I believe I have ever interacted with. Please take note of the consistent negative feedback about the administration and book an appointment elsewhere where you will be treated like a human being.
I had been dealing with ringworm for about 2 months, treating it with some OTC Lotrimin cream. It was almost gone, but I decided to book an appointment with Dr. Wolfe since I also needed to get my annual skin checkup for melanoma. Even though I included the fact that I wanted the ringworm checked in my appointment request, he clearly had concern that I brought it up during my appointment, most likely fearing that he was taking too much time with me. He looked at it, said it's "scarring and it's 90% gone." I said I wanted something to knock it out, so he prescribes me an ointment. The one ringworm circle that I had then duplicated to two after a week or so, so I book another appointment, this time with Dr. Omlor. I walk in, and an assistant tells me that Dr. Wolfe diagnosed me with nummular eczema, although he never told me. Dr. Omlor then says we should get a skin sample to figure out exactly what is going on, and I leave with a new steroid cream prescription, under the assumption that I have nummular eczema based off the prior diagnosis. It then duplicates to a total of four rings - all on my thigh. We finally get test results back, saying I have a fungal infection. What a surprise! I have to come back in again for an antifungal cream and some oral medication. The four rings still haven't fully gone away after yet another month, so they prescribe me stronger oral meds. I then had a negative reaction to those meds, leaving me bedridden for Thanksgiving. I call back on Saturday when it says they were open, although they were not. After some phone tag, I finally get a response... they have no other options to get rid of the ringworm. My first appointment with them was in mid September - they finally did something to treat my ringworm (even though I told them on day 1 that it was ringworm) a full month after that. 4 appointments, 3 creams, 2 oral medications, a skin sample scar, no plan, and 3 months later, I still have ringworm. tl;dr - It took them forever to diagnose something simple. Even if they got it right, they rush through appointments and do not have enough time for patients. This ringworm thing has been a nightmare, and it's still not over.
I am a new patient paying 100% out-of-pocket for services rendered by this business. I show up 10 minutes early to each appointment and always end up waiting 15-20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, with 0 or 1 other person in the waiting room. They are completely disrespectful of my time, and I wish they would honor appointment times more closely. If I find another practice that offers the same laser I use here, I will never be back
Highly recommend this practice. Iβve brought my daughter here for her horrid eczema (finally under control!), and I have loved come here myself. The staff is always very kind and welcoming. The office is run efficiently. And the physicians are top notch - knowledgeable with terrific bedside manner.
