Extremely disappointing experience. I purchased over $300 of Dr Obagi's signature line products, products which she recommended. I followed usage directions exactly. The products did the exact opposite of what I anticipated. Within a very short time of usage, the signature line products painfully dried my skin, causing wrinkles and crepey skin. I phoned the office, explaining the situation and asking what the process was for returning them. I was amazed when I was told to continue using the products (What? Crepey skin and wrinkles aren't the look I was going for). I was also told products were not returnable and my money would not be refunded because my experience wasn't an "allergic" reaction (how can that diagnosis be determined without seeing a patient?) Even Walmart stands behind the products they sell, guess Dr Obagi doesn't. I canceled my next scheduled appointment and won't be returning to Dr Obagi.

I went in for overpriced laser hair removal on my face. It's no secret to anyone I suffer from vitiligo. I also have severe folliculitis on my cheeks that cause wounds that turn into brand new white spots due to the physical trauma. You're practice/technician are the worst. Overpriced. But the lack of knowledge, preparation, and skill is what I did not expect given the stellar reputation here. I gave instructions and she did the exact opposite or whatever she wanted to remove or shape around my beard. Why do I have a beard? You are supposed to shave a day or 2 before to mitigate burning. Rhandi, didn't seem to mind as she wipped out a pair of 10 dollar Kmart clippers to my face and started blasting. The only thing positive about them is they got almost everything under my eyes. But, I really could and should be blind after four sessions so close that I would remove the goggles or stretch my skin. Do I have to go blind to get my money back or does any kind of disfigurement work?

Dr Obaji is the best ! Would recommend her to everyone! She has done pulse dye laser near my eye 3 times with excellent results, and has a lot of patience with anxious patient. Hope she keeps practicing for a long time!

I am thoroughly impressed by Dr. Obagi. I’m seeing her for acne scars and just have had a consultation so far, but she was very educational and took the time to teach me everything she could about my issues. She was very kind, compassionate, and patient when I would ask questions or talk about my concerns. I’m extremely excited to begin treatments with her and cannot recommend her enough!

If you want to play phone tag to get an appointment, this is the place for you. You will always get an answering machine saying all receptionists are on another call, and they will call you back. Good luck with that! Who knows when they will call back. It might be the next day. It might be never. Don’t waste your time. There are other dermatologists out there who are immediately responsive to your call.
