Rhode Island Dermatology and Cosmetic Center

I have been going to Rhode Island Dermatology for a few years now. The front desk staff is very welcoming and personable especially Laura. She greets everyone with a smile and shows all the patients the upmost professional and empathy to what they are going through. For treatment I see Shane for my appointments, and when he is unavailable, I see Christina and their medical assistants. All of them are kind, knowledgeable, and take the time to educate me about the treatments I need or have great recommendations. The office operates efficiently, promptly responding to messages in the patient portal as well as phone calls. Overall, I always have a positive experience. One aspect I feel is missing is music in the waiting area. It would help create a more relaxing atmosphere—perhaps some soft, spa-like music. Right now, it’s so quiet that you can hear a pin drop, which can feel a bit tense while your waiting. Most other offices have music or a TV playing, rather than just ads. But still a great place.

My daughter sees Christina and she is so great with her. My daughter has anxiety when it comes to any type of doctor appt. Christina takes her time, talks about what needs to be done, step by step what she will do and chats about every day stuff. It puts my daughter at such an ease that she does not want to leave. Very personable. The front desk, although not as friendly, but still professional and helpful, its not a major thing at all. We always show up about 5-10 minutes early, seen in the mornings. We get called into the room in less than 5 minutes and then again, wait about 5 minutes for Christina. I highly recommend coming to this location.

5 stars for Taylor! Knowledgeable and empathetic. She explains and teaches which is incredibly valuable! I didn’t get a good feel for the front office staff. They were friendly enough but didn’t feel welcomed as much as I do at other doctors offices.

Taylor was very professional and friendly and she explained everything to me in a very nice manner. She administered the procedure very efficiently with no discomfort on my part. I’m am very happy with the visit

Linda is an expert on skincare. I have been seeing her regularly for several years, and whether she is performing a facial, microdermabrasion, or chemical peel, she does it with great skill and professionalism. She always brings out the best in my skin!
