Dermatology Associates of the Lowcountry

Excellent staff! Liz is my dermatologist and has been able to address a number of skin issues. Highly recommend Liz and her staff.

Elizabeth Liggett has been providing subsequent care following surgery for a basal cell carcinoma and other skin issues. On every occasion I have found her to be extremely professional and knowledgable. She has always managed to take the time to explain issues in ways that a layperson can understand. Elizabeth and her support staff (Kimberly and/or Michelle) have managed to make me feel comfortable and cared for. I highly recommend them.

Called yesterday to schedule an appointment and was told to call back the next day at 8:00 am. Called back the next day and was put on a 6 minute hold. Still no appointment. I never write reviews but very disappointed. When I went there for the first time, I was forgotten about. 40 minutes went by until they realized I hadn’t been taken back. The doctor was super nice which is the only reason why I wanted to go back.

What a lovely office, with a friendly staff. I saw Elizabeth Liggett, NP, for a skin exam. She was very thorough, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. She took the time to really address my concerns. I would highly recommend this dermatology practice.

This place is terrible. Stay away! Beware! I thought I was lucky to get an appointment within a week but the reason is that everyone on Hilton Head Island know they're terrible. They biopsied a growth on my head and took 3 tries to get it right. Then they couldn't get the stitch in. Then they couldn't manage to call me back after 3 attempts to make a follow-up appointment for the Mohs procedure. I had to actually go to the office to make the appointment. The morning of the appointment they informed me I had to pay BEFORE the procedure. Ok fine, but why didn't they tell me that when I made the appointment? Then I sat in the office for over an hour waiting for my minor surgery which I never got. Only after I got my refund and left the office did anyone call me with concerns. To top it all off, they say I can't come in to get my release of records when I want to go to a competent doctor, and they won't email them. They "will put it in the mail." Yeah right. I'm sure it will take a court order to get those records.
