Advanced Dermatology & Skin Cancer Associates

I went to Advanced Dermatology to get my acne treated and I had the pleasure of being serviced by Saba. Her care to detail and bedside manners were greatly appreciated and she helped me feel comfortable throughout my visit. She diagnosed my acne type and gave me a simple and effective routine to treat it. I can say confidently that she greatly improved my skin and confidence and that I would highly recommend her.

I’ve heard how good Dr. Patel’s office was since I was in high school. I’m 40 now. Needless to say, I was so excited to visit the office for my scalp and hair issues. I just knew I’d receive top-tier care. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I saw Jennifer Hinders (I think that’s her name). I removed my clip-ins to show Ms. Hinders the issues I am having with my scalp. She did not even get close to me. She peered over into my head on her tip toes, while maintaining her distance from me, told me my hair would probably not grow back, mentioned a script for the front part of my hair, then left the room. There was no scalp analysis, no questions, no care. She made me feel like I was gross and no one should ever be made to feel that way, especially in a doctor’s office. I was prescribed a topical, watery product that does not work for my hair for many reasons. I was not asked to make a follow-up appointment or to have any diagnostic testing of any kind. I was disappointed to say the least.

I actually liked it here for the first couple months. I got on a medicine that started to help but trying to get my prescription filled or a phone call answered or even a call back is impossible. I've been without my medicine for a week now and have called numerous times 5 out of the past 7 days, and haven't gotten a call back in over a week. Extremely unprofessional.

I have struggled with acne on and off for three years. I saw Jodie recently and she made me feel so much hope. She gave me a great plan, explained everything so much, and made me feel so comfortable. I have found my dermatologist for life! I couldn’t recommend her more.

I’m not one to complain but I’m very frustrated with these people! They never call back! They never call the pharmacy when they request a refill until I have to call again and again to get that refill! It’s just so frustrating! I shouldn’t have to do that! I
