Dr. Leech is absolutely fantastic. My mom had surgery a couple of months ago and I was fortunate to be able to meet him along side of her at her appointments. My mom had high anxiety due to age and previous medical history. Dr. Leech eased my moms worry and exceeded our expectations with his bedside mannerisms all the way thru surgery and post visits. He does unbelievable work. Thank you for taking such great care of her. The ladies in the office are so sweet and kind as well. Thank you!!

Dr. Leech and his staff are amazing. The communication is great. I knew what to expect at each appointment, cost, deadline for payment, what recovery would look like, etc. Dr. Leech sense of humor is one of a kind. He gives it to you straight. I did have a complication 2 days after my procedure but Dr. Leech and his staff were very supportive. Dr. Leech visited me each day I was in the hospital to check on me. Also when I experienced the complication I called the on-call service and Dr. Christopher Chase was on-call for Dr. Leech. Dr. Chase was very empathic and instructed me to go to the ER. He also checked on me later that day to ensure I went to the ER and what the next steps were. Dr. Leech services is also very reasonable along with his years of experience was another reason I choose him.

Long story short: please don’t choose this man to be your doctor. Full story: I went in for a breast reduction consult several months ago, and it was truly the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional. I was essentially bullied the entire time. I was lectured and talked down to regarding my weight - I wear a size 16 in most clothing items. My actual weight is irrelevant as I lift weights as my chosen form of regular exercise. I am a registered dietitian, so I have a true understanding how ridiculous it is to make a medical decision on BMI alone. Rather than understanding/respecting my knowledge, Leech used this against me saying “you know what to do” and “you have know excuse” when saying I should lose weight. He also disregarded my history that regardless of my weight, which has fluctuated from a size 12 to size 18 since I was in high school, my breasts have never, ever changed size. His response was a condescending, “Yeah, sure.” I won’t go into detail of the deeply humiliating physical exam I endured, where he did not even ask what I want to change about MY own body. Rather, he told me what all he didn’t “like” about it. He refused to even submit my request to insurance until I could “show” him that I could lose “at least 25 pounds, more would be ideal.” Saying “I know insurance will deny it with your current BMI.” Thank goodness, I found a female plastic surgeon in Nashville, Dr. Lois Wagstrom, who completed my consult. She did not ask for my height nor weight and stated “Based on my exam, I know you have dense breast tissue, not adipose tissue. You can lose 50 pounds, and the size of your breasts won’t change. Your weight is irrelevant here.” Dr. Wagstrom submitted my request for surgery to my insurance, and it was approved immediately. I will have surgery in the next couple of months. Zero consideration of my BMI. I called Leech’s office directly to respectfully express my concerns, and his nurse was just as disrespectful as he was. So please, for the love of competence and respect for women, give your money to a different doctor. I hope you’ll choose a female plastic surgeon, Dr. Wagstrom or otherwise. Because honestly, a balding, old man making his money off of the insecurities women are handed by diet culture and the thin ideal should give us all the ick.

Dr. Leech and every staff member at the office have been nothing but kind, comforting, supportive, and helpful. I had breast reduction surgery in October and it could not have gone smoother, thanks to everyone at Chattanooga Plastic Surgery. Each of my appointments were on-time, efficient, and extremely informative. Dr. Leech and Ms. Jodi answered all of my questions and took their time walking me through each step of the process. Nurse Becky was calm and comforting for me post-surgery, answering any questions I had and providing comfort during my early healing stages. Everyone I encountered at this office, whether in person or via phone, made it clear that I could reach out any time and never made me feel like a bother. Would recommend to anyone looking into plastic surgery! Thank you Dr. Leech & CPS!
