Erlanger Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Dr Todd E. Thurston told me he would fix the placement of my nipple during my second surgery and he didn’t but instead lied and told me they line up when I lay down and when I laid down in front of his nurse she informed me they did not line up. I talked to someone about this and was told they would email him and get back with me 2mths ago and it never happened. This is a very uncomfortable situation and of course I don’t want to have surgery a third time I just feel like they don’t care because know one never followed up with me

Please read before making a decision on where you want to go for any procedure. I really did not want to have to leave a bad review but I've exhausted all options at this point. I took a lot of time trying to find the right surgeon for breast augmentation. I went to a lot of consults and ended up choosing Dr Rhem because I felt he would listen to me and didn't seem to be so impersonal as other Drs I had met with. And I will give that to him, he's always nice to me in person. But, he doesn't care about the experience I've had at the practice. At all. The implants I chose, were not what I ended up with. They were a lot smaller. And my biggest issue with that is... NO ONE TOLD ME. I discovered it over the holiday weekend on my implant card. So I freaked the entire weekend thinking he's mixed me up with me someone else because I was never told of a size change. My mom drove me and she was told it all went great and to come pick me up. From the moment I got in the car the 1st thing I noticed was they were small. I complained to the nurse the next day after surgery saying they were small, never mentioned anything. It wasn't until I met with Dr Rhem a week or so later when I MENTIONED IT, did he say "yeah thats because the size you wanted didn't fit". Which I understand that even though I was never warned that could happen, if thats what happened, but how do you not tell me that? That's not even why I'm leaving this review. I tried to let that go and be an ideal patient and not complain but I regret that I didn't put my foot down at this very issue. I was told I can come back in 8 to 12 months to get the size I asked for. Not to mention one breast is higher now and I'm unhappy with my results. I came back and was presented with a estimate of over 5 grand. Saying he gave me 25% off. I left upset. I called the office but always had to leave voicmails and never would get a call back. So, I sent an email to the surgery coordinator, Brandy, explaining how unhappy I was and that this isn't my fault and could the doctor not meet me in the middle with price? Just charge me the anesthesia part? She says she understands and the doctor said he will try to get my implants at no cost on top of my 25% discount, just come back in for another consult. I do that, taking time off work. Dr Rhem never discussed money. And coming from the medical field, that's normal. If you ask about money, they usually tell you they don't know about that and to speak with the financial coordinator. I'm taken to Brandy again to discuss finances.... and she slides over an estimate THAT IS MORE THAN THE FIRST ONE! I'm shocked. I asked why it's more now? She said this time I'm only getting 20% off. I ask why? She shruggs her shoulders at me. I assume she's forgotten our conversation via email and I bring that to her attention. She replies, "I told you the doctor would try to get your implants covered. That's the doctors decision. I don't know why." I'm so confused. What does that mean? We didn't even discuss it in the consult. Was it something he decided? Is this something he might reimburse later? I'm fuming and I had questions. Not once did she say let me talk to him or let me ask him or do you want to talk to him again? As I'm walking out, holding back tears she says "Sorry buddy!". It took me a couple of days to calm down. I could have been told it's more now than before via email. Why tell me to schedule another consult and loose hours at work for you to punish me for complaining and presenting me with a higher price then before I complained? They don't care. I sent Dr Rhem a long email telling him, as your patient, I should matter. You should care that I'm upset. I wasited money from work, I was treated like dirt. I explained how I trusted him and chose him over others and that if anything I hope he would just hear me out. But crickets. Nothing. Please please please. Be sure you put your foot down if your unhappy. And I would not recommend this office after the way I've been treated. I feel I was more than patient throughout this disaster.

Dr Domingo is absolutely AMAZING!!. I simply cannot say enough good things about him. I came to him after my 10 year old breast implant ruptured and he replaced them and I had a Mastopexy . Not only is Dr Domingo a great surgeon but his bedside manner is above and beyond. He makes you feel like you’re his best friend. I am 49 years old and my breast look and make me feel like I’m back in my 20s. Thank you Dr Domingo for caring and taking such good care of me during this process. Jessica, his nurse is outstanding, knowledgeable and was very patient with me. I also want to give a shout out to Lilly, who works in surgery for taking such good care of me and making me feel calm. Overall, everyone in this office has made me feel so special like I was their number one patient. I highly recommend this office and I cannot recommend Dr Domingo enough!! ! My husband and I absolutely adore him!! If you want the BEST plastic surgeon than look no further than Dr. Domingo!! He is 100% doing what he was called to do!!

I have been seeing Kristi Bussey for a year and recommend her to anyone who asks. I value her conservative approach to injectables and her willingness to carve out time for follow ups or touch ups until she’s happy with the result. She goes above and beyond for her patients. 10/10 recommend

Always great seeing Dr. B and his wonderful nurses. They were so kind and spent time answer all my questions!! Also, Cheryl was so kind and gentle with explaining scheduling and what she could do for me. It was so refreshing to talk with someone when scheduling that was nice but explained the protocol for scheduling.
