Dr. Hanggi performed two Moh’s procedures on my face, although, it did take me a couple months to muster up the nerve. The first one resulted in only three stitches. The second procedure I was not so lucky. Three scoops of tissue before my margins were clear. I had a hole the size of a nickel in my cheek near my nose. Very traumatic to see for a forty-five year old. He then told me he was going to do the best he could to make the stitches not noticeable. That was six years ago. I have since moved away and have been seen by various skin doctors, ALL of which comment and ask, “Who did your stitches?!” If ever I need another Moh’s procedure (hopefully not), I will insist on Dr. Hanggi doing the surgery.
Dr. Hanggi and his staff has always been so friendly and professional. Dr. Hanggi is an excellent diagnostician and clinician and has always greeted me with a smile and my name, which is unusual these days! I have seen him several times in the last year and a half and his demeanor never varies. He is an excellent, caring doctor.
Dr. HANGGI did a Mohs procedure to remove cancer from my ear because my regular(Dr. Dittrich) dermatologist recommended him for this cancer and reconstructive surgery. It's been a couple of years now and no cancer and amazingly I can't even tell where he did the surgery. I've no idea how plastic surgeons could do any better! Also very nice person.
Dr. Hanggi was able to diagnose a condition I had been suffering with for five long years. I would periodically run high fevers accompanied by a deep red rash, sometimes blistering, for two to five days in length. Several Specialists in the Knoxville area and one at Vanderbilt were stumped. Hanggi found that I had a rare thing called Sweet's Syndrome. Thank you Dr. Hanggi!
