Pinnacle Dermatology - Manchester

Rachel Clay PA-C was very very good at spotting trouble spots on my skin. She was very gentle and she did a wonderful job!!!! Worked outside for many years and my skin showed it. The nurse working with Dr.Clay was excellent also. She administered the numbing shot so well I didn't feel any pain. I believe her name was Stacey. Very glad I had went to Pinnacle !!!!

I had my annual appointment today, and thankfully have no problems. I had a different provider today and she wasn’t as through as Haley,,,she didn’t check my scalp as Haley always has. But she was very nice

What an incredible experience at my first appointment today. Everything went extremely well and was explained very thoroughly to me. I had 3 biopsies today and had zero pain unlike last experiences from previous places. I’m very pleased with the services I received today and will look forward to my next visit. Thank you so much!

I am so incredibly disappointed with my last visit. I made an appointment for my child who had been having some issues. The appointment was then rescheduled some time later due to a provider leaving and pushed out to March. The appointment day comes around and the provider we see this go around did not match the previous experince we had with pinnacle, which had been great. I came here to discuss an ongoing issue my child has been having with her hands and arms which had already been reviewed by an allergist, with a hope to find specific causes of the irritation, and have a long term care plan. I felt dismissed and like an easy blanket diagnosis was being pushed on us despite me already explaining that eczema was NOT the issue. That we had seen an allergist and the opinon was that this was more allergic than eczema based on several factors. A few things that set the tone of the appointment that we just couldn't come back from with this provider was the feeling of trying to be told by her that what a different doctor had told me even though she was not present at that appointment, dismissing what I was showing and describing to her as something that wasn't a cause for concern (My childs hands were swelling and painful within minuites for these reactions, each one being worse than the last), and then offering a stronger steroid after trying to tell me that steroid creams do not dry out the skin. I went back to the pharmacy, called our PCP, and pulled up side effects lists etc. after leaving, confirming that not only can steroid creams dry out skin, they can thin skin, cause redness, irritation etc. While patients and caregivers do come to you for the experince and knowledge you have, it's important to remember that patients and caregivers are managing our bodies everyday and you are not. We should be listened to with more consideration than what was given. Additionally, I filled out the email survey an left a very similar note to this and marked that I would like to be contacted in hopes that we could go over this experience privately. It's been a buisness week and I have not heard back.

My appointment was scheduled for 8:40 a.m. and was on my way home by 9 a.m. Virginia provided a thorough examination and addressed my questions with suggestions for.the challenges I am experiencing with facial skin. I am extremely happy with the Manchester, TN office/staff.
