Martin Specialty Clinic

Every time I’ve gone here I’ve had the worst health care experience by far. Their nurse practitioners have always talked down to me in a way no one else has. Not sure what I did to cause that, but I’ve gone to fast pace for the same issues and they are significantly more help. Literally I walk out of there thinking I was so stupid for seeking medical help for my little issue then every other medical professional tells me a completely different story. They say the health care in Martin is bad and I think they are part of the issue. Just don’t bother going, to anywhere else. 2 stars because the receptionists are always very polite despite the horrors that they works with.

Dr. Chin and his nurse, Heather are literally heaven sent. They take everything I say seriously and take their time with me during my visits. If I have questions and I call to speak to Heather and she isn’t available at that time, she calls me back within 10-15 minutes and she’s always just as pleasant over the phone as she is in person. I feel spoiled when I go there. I feel like they really do care about me and my baby’s well-being. Having nothing but bad experiences in the past- this place is like a breath of fresh air. I’ll definitely be recommending more people come here and ask for those two!! They deserve all the praise!

This clinic is a joke. They refused to give me my NT testing at the appropriate time, then told me they would not check my baby for down syndrome until after 20 weeks, and that would be by blood test, not using the ultrasound at 12-13 weeks like they are supposed to. Then, I was told they do not even do those tests if I am under 35! I was advised to pick up my medical records, because they would no longer see me due to me demanding they give me the proper testing to assure my baby's health. Absolutely disgusting. I would not recommens anyone going to this clinic unless you want to be neglected. My doctor barely ever even say me, always this rude nurse who pretended she was my doctor. She had the nerve to give me restrictions at work to help with my blood pressure, then when my work called to double check on them, she took it back and said I have no medical issues. Will never go here again!

Dr. Vernon is phenomenal. She truly listens to your concerns and addresses them. I introduced my grandmother, who is very picky and had used the same doctor for years until her doctor became ill, to Dr. Vernon, and she immediately knew she was the right doctor for her!

Was my go to place when jack baltz was there. Called today, rude old bat receptionist would not make appointment only sent me to answer machine. I tried 4 times to make sure was understanding me, when she got even ruder. I did respond back to it, saying you lost my bussiness forever. I will never be back.
