Very disappointed with first and what will be only appointment for my Mother. She is elderly, but does very well. He was very abrupt and condescending and would not listen to her. I would not recommend him to anyone if you have concerns and / or want an appointment that will last more than 5 minutes.

BEWARE- DO NOT GO HERE- EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!!!!!!!!!~ I have been a patient of Dr. Slawsky for several years. I take Spironolactone for hormonal acne. At Dr. Slawsky's suggestion, I tried to take a break from the medication to see if I still needed to take it ( I am over 50 and it seemed reasonable that I may no longer need the medication) I had two refills remaining on my prescription & did not take that long of a break from it (less than 1 month). I began to get break outs again and tried to pick up a refill. I was told at the pharmacy that my prescription had expired. My pharmacist said they would fax Dr. Slawsky to get a refill, when I went back to pick it up; I was told that Dr. Slawsky had denied my refill request. I called the "Advanced Dermatology" to ask that they call in a few pills until I could make it into the office for the required office visit and I was told NO. Now I have blemishes all over my face and no way to help myself anytime soon. This doctor and his staff are the most unreasonable, unsympathetic, horrible excuse for healthcare I have ever experienced. DO NOT GO HERE. All my office visits ever consisted of was 5 minutes of me in the examine room with him asking me if anything changed, he wrote the script and my insurance was billed hundreds of dollars for basically nothing.

Dr. Slawsky is fantastic! I am prescribed an extremely expensive biologic for a genetic condition. He and his staff have gone absolutely above and beyond to verify it with insurance, get it approved, and make sure that the hectic world of big pharma doesn't impact my treatment. I could hug every person in their office for all the kindness and hard work they have done for me!!! They will treat you like family and take care of you at this office!

I was honestly hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but Dr. Slawsky was adequate, showed concern, and did so without keeping me in his office all day. Will absolutely go back as needed for dermatological care.

A few years ago I told Dr Slawsky that I thought a spot on my nose was skin cancer. He said it wasn’t. Then two years later and the third visit, I told him it was growing and I thought it was skin cancer. After insisting for a biopsy, the results came back and it was skin cancer. A large hole was cut into the side of my nose because it had gotten so deep. Just this past week my mother went to see him with sores on her face and around her eyes. He told her it was the sun causing that. Well it got worse and was shingles and this could have been very dangerous around her eyes. How can a dermatologist not know this? Most incompetent doctor I have ever dealt with and would not recommend anyone going to.
