This is my first visit to Thrive Family Dermatology. I had very good experience and was very pleased with the service provided to me. The front desk staff was very friendly and waiting time was only few minutes. Dr. Anna Vawter is an excellent doctor. She explained everything very thoroughly. I found her to be very caring and professional. I was really very impressed with her personality and dealing with her patients. I am glad that I found her as my doctor.
If you're looking for a compassionate and knowledgable dermatologist, I highly recommend Dr.Vawter! She and her staff go above and beyond to ensure the best care. Thank you!
Dr. Vawter is a knowledgeable, caring professional. She examined me carefully, explaining what she found and outlining alternative courses of treatment as she went along. She answered my questions and made me confident in the course of treatment we agreed to.
I can not say enough wonderful things about Thrive Dermatology! Dr. Vawter is so personable and knowledgeable. She takes time to answer all your concerns. Her MA and Receptionist are just as wonderful and make you feel very welcome! Highly recommend!
UPDATE: Thrive "terminated" me as a patient because of a billing issue that was their fault. I was never rude to anyone I spoke with. I was extremely frustrated because they were giving me the run around for almost 6 months. But they "terminated" me without even telling me. Again, I do not recommend this provider. I've been coming to Thrive for a few years and I've always loved this office. However, after my daughters last visit in February I am highly disappointed. When checking out, I explained to Mel that we had met our deductible and only should be paying the 20% co-insurance. Mel argued with me that their system still showed we owed our deductible and she charged me $104.69. The EOB processed a few weeks later and low and behold I should have only owed $20.95. I have been called for months to get the refund of $83.75 and everytime I call Mel says they haven't received the EOB yet and she will call me once it comes in. I've spoken with her twice and it's now May 25th and I still haven't heard from the office regarding my refund. I think it's extremely fishy that I can pull the EOB from my insurance website, but she doesn't have it on her end. I even offered to email or bring the EOB into the office. I do not recommend this office.
