Its a great practice. Dr. Moore is not only professional she's extremely nice. The staff around her is the same. I'm bad with names but I also saw her practitioner once and she was as professional and personable. You never wait forever in the office so you can always expect to be back on time where you need to be after an appointment. I don't have any scars form the 2 cancers they removed. They're very adamant about patients getting the proper lotions after a procedure that could help with scarring. I drive from the other side of Arlington (I'm in Kennedale) to see Dr. Moore. That's a testament to how good the practice is.
I am confused reading these review. My experience at this office was super rushed. Dr Moore barely looked at me for one minute before recommending accutane which seems very intense. Makes me wonder if they get paid for prescribing it to people. I also wanted my moles looked at. She talked very fast and was in and out all in under 5 minutes. I left feeling super disappointed.
The staff and the doctor are very kind, helpful, and informative. I definitely feel like I'm in excellent hands here.
I went there a few years ago and was stunned by the way they operate. To be specific, Angela removed some basal cell carcinoma from my arm. The scar is horrible. I have never ever had worse stitches and my entire life. And I have had numerous stitches. Left a terrible scar on my arm and when I show it to other doctors they are stunned that she would leave such as scar. Her assistant tried to tell me that it takes numerous appointments to remove some dark spots on my skin. I know from past experience that these can be removed on the first visit. It just seems like all they want is your money. Create recurring revenue by having you come in over and over for a simple procedure. I felt bad for a lot of the elderly people that were and a waiting room because I feel like they're getting treated as I was and on a fixed income I'm sure or Medicaid. I would not recommend them to anyone. I let the office manager know of my concerns. Hopefully there were some changes but I find that very doubtful. The reason why I'm posting this review is because I just received an email and my email box from this office from Angela. I do not recall giving them my email for such advertising. I immediately unsubscribed.
I would not recommend this place and I'll tell you you why, the below are all my thoughts and opinions based off my experiences: Not only were my medical records given to me inaccurately from this office, it is also like a shopping mall. So a dermatologists office has products, so what? Well, if you want to buy a basic cream or sunscreen that wasn't specifically recommended, they front staff will not allow you to buy it. I'm talking about OTC products you can buy at pharmacies, Walmart, and even Amazon. They've had me wait over 30 minutes to get approval to buy an OTC product. Not only that, they push sales like crazy. I felt like my Provider was a Sales Agent at a Cosmetology booth in the mall. They do ask for reviews, after every visit via text message. Several times. It's rather annoying when you're trying to get care, and they're giving you inaccurate information. They seem to care mainly about sales and booking following up appointments. There were usually many people in the lobby, too many. It made me uncomfortable, it seems like double booking appointments may be their standard of care. My first appointment was specifically suppose to be with Dr. Moore, they sent in a NP and I had to ask for Dr. Moore as that's who I was told my appointment was scheduled with and thats who I requested. It seemed like a big inconvenience, but she did rush in and give her opinion and spent a good 2 - 4 minutes with me. I only ever saw her again when they messed up my medical records. Everytime I left I was given a list of products to buy at the front counter, even in leui of things that there are actual prescriptions for. They're most all expensive products. My provider was nice but did not seem genuinely interested in helping me or was just at a loss. I would ask her questions, and the answer would often say "I'm not sure" or. "I don't know" and left it at that. I felt like an inconvenience. I'm sorry, but you won't let me buy OTC products from your office without approval but can't help me with my conditions. Awful experience. I wish I had read a review pointing out the overselling of OTC products, and shaming you if you didn't buy those. These are common branded items like Avene, Isdin, and other similiar high quality/high price ingredients. We're talking sunscreen and lotions here... EDIT: I forgot to mention after reading other reviews, she didn't introduce herself to me either, and spouted off stuff before walking out. And the wait times were long. The front staff always seemed to have an attitude, except for maybe 2. The MAs were not good at communicating with the provider, so it was always misunderstood and repeated calls. Glad I went to another office. There was a lack of compassion all around despite all the Jesus crosses and Bible references on the walls... they at very insisnt on you using their pharmacy downstairs. You get resistance if you want things called in to another pharmacy. Does Dr. Moore have financial ties to this pharmacy? If so, it is not disclosed in her paperwork as required.
