U.S. Dermatology Partners Athens

Very disappointing. Scheduled an appointment for Monday 9/16/24 at 1:10 pm several weeks ago. Specifically asked for Athens office and was told that is where it would be. Arrived 15 minutes early was told I made appoinment for Jacksonville office. Explained to Receptionist that I was told it was for Athens as I requested. Receptionist said "No you made it for Jacksonville ". I explained my conversation with scheduling, to which Receptionist replied "We might be able to work you in, which other person in front office - said no more appointments, maybe come back tomorrow". I explained, I am not driving due to my health. My husband took off work to bring me today and for my other appointments. I have never been spoken to so condescending by medical office staff. When I got in car, called scheduling and asked could I still be seen this afternoon in Jacksonville (45-minute drive). Scheduler said no more appointments today. As I am an established patient for the last 4 years, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of consideration given and unprofessional ism of the two staff I spoke with in Athens office, especially as the Receptionist stated " yes, we have problems with scheduling" - if you know that and as you say " are working on fixing it" - why not resolve the problem for an established patient in a fair manner. While I am only one patient, a Senior with health and transportation problems, and your staff thinks what happened is not a concern to your practice, you just lost me and two other established patients. Will be going elsewhere.

The staff were phenomenal and unbelievably friendly and helpful. The Doc was amazing. I’ve sat with dr’s with deity complexes, but this PA was sweet and kind with my daughter while being firm with the necessary procedures. I appreciated his approach as my kid is terrified of people she doesn’t know. Not to mention how quickly they moved us through, not a two hour wait like most office’s.

We LOVED HIM ! He was very VERY nice and has wonderful bedside manners.. Hope to see him again in 6 months. I can't say enough good about him because he is the type of doctor That I wish so many doctors out there could take lessons from him. On how to treat patients. We talked with him like he was our best friend. If you get a chance, book an appointment with him.

The office in Lindale was very friendly, efficient, and there was clear communication from beginning to end. I was so impressed that Johnson the PA, took his time, listened and explained clearly, answering all my concerns. I asked for a recommendation for a specialist in a completely different health area, and he looked up the info and gave me 3 different names. His assistant (maybe a nurse) called to get one of them for me! These professions went way beyond the call of duty! Very pleased!!!

Dr. Johnson and his staff are so friendly and nice. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. This clinic is by far the best I've ever been to.
