If you’re looking for perfection this is where you go. Dr. Atencio and team are fantastic! She did a spectacular job on my surgery. I get compliments all the time. And the aftercare guidance is second to none! Don’t underestimate how important that part is. Honestly, all of WL Dermatology has been great for me, even non-surgical. Sarah Grimmer has done great work on me as well, and I will continue to visit her for my beauty care.

I went to Dr Atencio at Westlake Dermatology for implant removal, fat transfer and a bit of bad tissue removal/ reconstruction on my breasts. She is absolutely incredible!!!! Beautiful work, her stitches are tiny and my healing has been amazing/ scars are so minimal- lightly visible and I’m only a couple months out. As a doctor she is extremely well trained and knowledgeable and makes sure everything is done to the best medical standards. And as a woman she was very careful to make sure it looks amazing. THANK YOU DR ATENCIO!

I wish every doctor’s office was this good. Parking is easy, and the staff is so kind! I always have a great experience when I go to Westlake Dermatology.

I made an appointment to see Dr. LaCour for a skin check. As a new patient, I went in feeling a little hesitant but he was very kind & professional during the appointment. He addressed all areas I was concerned about and was very diligent about reviewing the rest of my body. Although I use a lot of sunscreen, my body is very reactive to the sun so I’m very grateful Dr. LaCour took his time to do his best job & explain what he was looking for/what I should be looking out for. He did end up taking a mole off to biopsy. His assistant was helpful in distracting me while he numbed the area (very thankful for this even though the removal process was super smooth!). Overall, I was in & out in 30 minutes or less with no questions or concerns. Parking is super easy & free - so don’t let that scare you from coming to the Downtown Westlake location. Efficient & quality care. Thanks Dr. LaCour & team!

I went in to have a spot frozen off, the provider did the procedure on the wrong area. I called to tell them it was done incorrectly, no one apologized and was just told to come back over a month later to have it redone. I then received a bill for the visit even though it wasn’t even done correctly. I have repeatedly called and left messages with the front office/office manager to understand why I’m getting billed for something done incorrectly and have been ignored. At this point I have to pay the bill, but maybe that’s the point in ignoring my calls.
