DermSurgery Associates - Ming H. Jih, M.D.

Completely understaffed from a medical perspective and no one from the medical team can get back to patients regarding prescriptions and prior authorizations. Personally, I have been waiting since December 2023 and it’s almost March now. Dr Jih herself is wonderful and very thorough but there are too many cons about the practice to return again. If you are HMH employee or a family member, there are many other options through the provider portal.

As a physician myself, i am keenly aware of the traits and qualities I want to see in my own doctors. Dr. Ming Jih easily exceeds my stringent criteria. She’s very knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. I’ve seen her now several times and am impressed with her ability to analyze the information and derive a rational and well-explained plan of care. I liked her style…straight to the point, but delivered in an educational and thoughtful manner. Excellent and friendly staff as well. Exceptional. A+ steve meltzer, md

Dr. Jih is awesome. She is very knowledgeable and very patient and explains very clearly. However, the office appointment system is terrible. There were no communication after I submitted a request online. Then received a message about the appointment two days before the appointment, with just a time and doctor's name with no location information.

AVOID DERMSURGERY ASSOCIATES!! ABYSMAL ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF and processes. Visit yesterday was more of the same. At best they can only "check a box", zero customer-oriented behavior, even poorer professionalism from check-in to office management. I've visited three times, the last two complete frustrations with poor communications, terrible staff performance. The only favorable visit - 2021 - was with Dr. Jih for a well-check. Pleasant lady … easy-peezy exam … cannot speak to her expertise beyond the "all good" evaluation.

I have had Dr. Jih as my doctor before and really liked her. I had not been in some time and decided to schedule an appointment. I'm not able to get anyone to call me back either.
