Dr. Malouf Dermatology

I had a 1:30 appointment. I was booked promptly, and the staff was very courteous. I was told to take my clothes off and he'd be in within a few minutes. I waited 40 minutes with no updates and never heard the doctor’s voice outside visiting other patients, so finally stuck my head out the door and asked for a nurse to see what was going on. They apologized but said he had been in his office with the door shut on a phone call and wouldn't answer their texts, and they weren’t sure when he would be out. Well, I’m in the middle of my workday too and couldn’t gamble on him deciding when to honor his patient’s time, so I just asked for them to refund my money. Keep in mind, they charge you in advance for your appointment when you walk in the door and have a no-show cancellation fee within 24 hours, but then he apparently doesn't mind no-showing on his own patients that have already arrived…frustrating. They did, however, refund my money. Again, the staff was very friendly, but the office was also near dead – the waiting room was completely empty, so it wasn’t an overscheduling issue – just a lack of regard issue. To be fair, this was my second visit and the first was fine…nothing great, nothing bad. His assistants are great, but it was unacceptable for a professional.

Just got out of my appointment with Dr. Malouf, terrible experience. He was dismissive about a couple chronic issues I deal with regularly, was not clear about how often I should apply medications and didn't acted like I was an inconvenience as he rushed out of the room. This resulted in me trying to get clarification from his assistant who is not a dr. So frustrating, typical Dr that's rushing through patients. When I called the office to cancel my follow up appointment, the staff didn't care that I was canceling and didn't care that I had a bad experience.

BEST DERMATOLOGIST!!! I have been all around and tried SO many different terms, but Dr. Malouf is the first one that I am actually seeing true change with. I go in for both my TMJ botox and cystic acne. After my first appointment I left feeling so much relief I have not felt in a while. His entire staff is SO kind and answered my millions of questions. I even have called in with some questions and his team has gone above and beyond to help me. Would definitely recommend

Dr. Malouf is amazing and talented. No on better. He and his staff are top notch. I highly recommend him for everything from head to toe. Saved my life finding my melanoma and making me look and feel younger! I have sent many people to him with confidence of knowing they will be happy with his services.
