Unfortunately this is not going to be a good review. If it wasn't for the great office staff, this review wouldn't even deserve the 1 star. I called in about a skin tag I had on the back of my leg. It didn't hurt me but it wasn't very esthetically pleasing for me. I wouldn't wear anything that showed my legs. I had it for 7-8 years and it just would gradually get larger. My regular dr recommended me to Basin Dermatology. I called in and asked for an appointment but also asked if the skin tag could be removed that same day because I live an hour away from their office. They said yes and had me send pictures and hold things up to it for size reference. They gave me a quote and I made the appointment. The day of the appointment I waited with my 9 year old daughter for 45 minutes, then was called back. They came in fairly quickly and I explained to the assistant what was going on and she had me get into that giant paper napkin they give you to cover up. The dr came in and took a look and said they'd need to schedule for one of the Dr's to remove the skin tag because they had all already left for the day. I explained to her that I really wished I'd of known that because I was very specific about needing it to be removed the day that I came in but ok. She, with firmness and an attitude, had her assistant get everything ready and she'd just remove it herself. She looked at me with a squint and said it was going to be $200 and that insurance wouldn't be covering any part of it. I said that would be ok, and she looked annoyed I was accepting of that as if her intent on saying that was to keep me from wanting to continue on. She kept saying that she doesn't often do these removals and it would be prettier if one of the Dr's did it and I told her I didn't care I just wanted it gone. She later asked me if I was sure I even wanted it removed because if it wasn't hurting me I was putting a scar on my body for essentially no reason. I reiterated it was worth the scar and that getting it removed was important to me. That it did bother me in ways I guess she just didn't understand. My daughter looked a bit scared seeing them get ready to remove it and the lady being so persistent to talk me out of it so I asked the assistant could my daughter come stand up next to my head instead of seeing what they were doing and she was quiet for a long time then asked why I needed her up there with me. I explained and she said oh she looks fine to me. They removed the skin tag which took altogether less time than I waited. Then I went to the checkout to pay that $200 she threatened me with to find out they were sending the tag off to be tested and I don't pay anything until it comes back with results. The results came in and after the coverage from insurance, I owed $10.00. I wish my experience had been different so I could have found my derm home, however this just wasn't at all how anyone would want too or deserves to be treated. I have felt so much better after having that tag removed and felt like a new person even with how they were treating me the tag was gone and I just didn't care. I can actually show my legs and don't even know if there is a scar or what it looks like. I hope no one else experiences this.

I see Nikki which is Dr. Caglia’s physicians assistant and she has been so clear / concise when explaining my treatment options for hair loss. i’ve seen improvement already & would recommend her to anybody, thanks Nikki!!

Dr gaglia and nurse Gloria did an amazing job with my surgery. . It was very quick and I felt very comfortable . Love love love the service .
