Legacy Dermatology Center - Prosper

Today was my first time visiting Legacy Dermatology. I was highly impressed with the care, kindness and attention during my visit. The office is gorgeous and clean. Front staff was informative. Reading the consent forms particularly regarding explanation of insurance terminology and what to expect from them as your healthcare provider was intimate and personable in making you feel at home with people who really care about your health. This is my third review I’ve ever written and I will be sure to share this LG with my friends and family!

Updated: they called a couple of days later and apologized for a glitch in their communication system. Brought my 4 year old son here about 6 weeks ago and was satisfied with the service and outcome of the appt. We were given a prescription and I was happy to see it working. However, upon stopping the cream, the symptoms returned. I called last week Monday to inquire about next steps and talked with someone, telling them the issue. I was told someone would be in touch. After no response, I called again last week Thursday and provided the same info/said I never heard back from anyone. Receptionist said the dr was in a meeting but they would put in a direct message so they would see it right away and I was told they would be in touch. Now it's an entire week later (10 days after my first call!!) and I've still received no response. Very disappointing and will find an alternative provider due to the lack of communication and urgency.

I’ve gone to the Prosper location a few times to see Melissa, PA and have gotten great advice and solutions. Entire staff is professional, helpful and pleasant. The location is convenient and the office is very clean. I’m glad I found this place!

It was horrible! The nurse was rude to us...all they cared about was telling us what was covered and how much things were. Then they tried to sell us their body wash and body soap. Dr. Max Adler was an absolute joke..he came in their rude and sarcastic, horrible bedside manner, and acted like my questions were dumb and we were wasting his time. Little did he know we were wasting our money and time being there with an uneducated old guy who has no clue about the side effects of the medicine he was prescribing. Absolute joke and waste of money rude, and very uncultured and seemed pretty uneducated.

I never have to wait to long to see Melissa Prasatik, PA-C. She is an excellent healthcare professional who listens to the patient and has a great bed side manner. She is definitely my favorite. I wish more of rest the medical community were like her.
