Regional Plastic Surgery Center - Sherman, TX

I cannot recommend Dr. Derrick at the Sherman location enough! After seeing multiple other surgeons and feeling extremely defeated with my personal choice to remove my 10 year old breast implants for health reasons, Dr. Derrick and his team made me feel confident with my decision. Several other doctors told me taking them out would not look good, I should just replace the old implants with new ones, Breast Implant Illness isn’t real, etc. but Dr. Derrick listened, respected my decision, thoroughly explained the pros and cons with all of my options and ultimately let me decide what I wanted without giving an unsolicited opinion. Within a month my surgery was booked, my old implants were removed and I have never felt better! I am so happy with the results and feel more confident now than before with my implants. I cannot thank him and his staff enough for the care and attention to detail from the day I had my consultation to the weeks after surgery. They were so kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process. Speaking of his staff… Christi, Dr. Derrick’s cosmetic coordinator, was the most amazing person to lean on during the entire process. The day I called her to tell her what I needed/wanted, she had me in their office the next few days for an appointment. Not only did she ensure I felt confident with my choice, she also helped me work with filing a claim with my old implant company from a previous surgery (not with Dr. Derrick) and made sure I knew she was on my team. If it weren’t for her, I’m not sure I would’ve have chosen Regional Plastic Surgery Center in Sherman.

My daughter was referred here by our insurance but after scheduling the surgery and paying our out of pocket expenses to them, the anesthesiologist would not do the surgery without removal of the temporary cardiac monitor also caused by her accident. We tried canceling the surgery 2 weeks before but Liz insisted on keeping it on the schedule even though her anesthesiologist refused to do the surgery with the monitor in place. We asked to reschedule it and Liz said it would be fine. Needless to say, this place is crooked. They refuse to refund our money saying we did not cancel our appointment within the allotted time. 2 weeks is plenty time. Quite a scam to keep people’s money hard earned money.

I did not welcome a surgery to Explant 40 year old breast implants that had both ruptured , had capsular contracture ,delayed my mammograms , as well as began causing problems during workouts ,but Dr Mehta was referred to me by Dr Parker ( and the fact that his office was the previous office of our beloved Dr Swamy helped relieve my anxiety). I asked for an MRI and consultation unsure if I really needed to undertake any surgery choice. Dr Mehta was very clear from the first visit on the multiple choices , including no replacement implants. He did not try to sway me in any choice,but explained the different outcomes I could expect. The MRI confirmed the worst and Christi immediately helped me schedule far enough out to be prepared for some “ down” time. Access to the “Real Self“ online site reviews and before and after pics were a great help on my final choices for woman of “ age”! The pre-op nurse Kim did a great job calming me ….and my hubby. Both Dr Mehta’s and his assistant nurse Sheri were wonderful and professional at all times. And a special thanks to the anesthesiologist…. pretty good guy!Thankfully,the outcome exceeded my expectations because they were pretty grim in my head! I am pleased to know Texoma has access to this professional, talented surgical group locally! We appreciate them now for sure.

I am so happy with my experience with Dr. Mehta and the staff at the Sherman office. My mommy makeover turned out better than I could have ever expected! Dr. Mehta is so professional and trustworthy. He really earned my trust when I asked about adding a procedure to my mommy makeover and he told me he thought I didn’t need it when he easily could have said nothing and gotten more money out of me. That really showed me he cared more about me as a patient being happy with my results than he did about the money, which is so rare! I have felt taken care of no matter what throughout the whole process and any time I have a question or concern I get a response that same day, sometimes within the hour. If you’re looking for quality work and aftercare, Dr. Mehta is your guy!

I honestly cannot express how wonderful my experience has been with Regional Plastic Surgery Center. From Christi's infectious positive attitude to Dr. Mehta's calm, professional, and friendly demeanor, this experience has been amazing. As a man, who has wanted these surgeries for many years, I can honestly say that I'm extremely happy that I went through this with these wonderful individuals and hope that this gives peace of mind to any guy who might be considering a weight loss change.
