Tarek Fakhouri, MD

I no longer live in Houston. I moved to Florida in 2020. I was recently diagnosed with Melanoma on the back of my arm by my local dermatologist. I knew immediately I would fly back to Houston for this surgery because Dr. Fakhouri did my last 2 Mohs surgeries (one on my temple and the other on my cheek) very successfully. His skill level is very hard to beat and it is only surpassed by his excellent bedside manner. The office staff is kind and very friendly but I can say I was so excited to see that Omar was still working with Dr, Fakhouri. He is just the most comforting and friendly person. Also, Hanna was amazing at getting me in ASAP. If I get any additional skin issues that need surgery,,,, I will be returning to use Dr. Fakhouri again. Highly recommend.

I went to see Dr. Fakhouri from a recommend and I'm very happy I made the decision. The doc had the perfect mix of medical expertise and bedside manner. He was quick and efficient, as well as ensuring I was comfortable at every step of the process. He's an amazing doctor!

I brought my mom to Dr. Fakhouri to have an area excised from her face. Needless to say, my mom was nervous. Dr. F was so kind and easy to talk to, my mom was put at ease quickly. The results of his work were beautiful! Not only highly skilled surgically, he is also one of the nicest, professional docs you will meet. I highly recommend him and his staff. The whole experience was great from start to finish.

Dr. Fakhouri and his medical assistants, Lauren and Omar, worked very efficiently but in a relaxed, no-hurry manner that made me feel completely comfortable. His surgical skills were impressive. I had an incision on my back about four inches long. We were talking the whole time. I felt no pain, and the incision healed completely within three days--beautiful stitch work! The medical staff gave me all the information I needed to take home with me, and Dr. Fakhouri called me twice to be sure that I was recovering satisfactorily. This is quite the standard of care.

I walked into the office feeling very confident since Dr. Fakhouri treated 2 of my friends. They just didn't have to words to explain to me how good this doctor really was! All of his staff are highly professional and very confident in what they are doing. Dr Fakhauri is not only an excellent doctor but he makes sure his staff is educated. He is an outstanding educator as well, and explains everything so even I understood! There is no rating him, he's the best!
