Extremely knowledgeable and polite staff, in fact the nicest, most personable staff I've met in Utah. Dr. Fairbanks is extremely thorough, quelled any concerns I had about the procedures I needed after having issues with a previous implant surgery done by another doctor. Explained everything in detail to me which helped calm my severe anxieties about the procedure. Even the anesthesiologist was funny, polite, and explanatory. Dr. Fairbanks cares about his patients and it shows, amazing results I highly recommend

Surgery was not an easy decision for me to make. I went to many different surgeons for consultations and took a lot of time to decide. None of them compared to Dr Fairbanks and his team. I first went to meet with him by myself and at that meeting he pointed out how important post op care is. He recommended I come back with my husband for another consultation so my husband had the opportunity to learn about the procedure and the post op care I would need. My husband and I both had lots of questions and concerns and we never felt rushed and he did a great job explaining everything. It was a huge help for my husband to get so much instruction on how to take care of me post op. His work is meticulous and he stands by it. I love his nurses and everyone that cared for me at the surgery center pre and post op. I feel like he specializes in surgery that preserves a natural look and ultimately puts your health first and foremost. I’ve always been worried about going under general anesthesia but Dr Fairbanks’s cautious approach put me at ease. He was the only surgeon I met with that acted like a physician and a darn good one at that. I have no doubt that he’s the best surgeon for these reasons: 1. Meticulous quality of natural looking work 2. Prioritizing the health of the patient 3. Incredible bedside manner 4. Wonderful surgery center 5. Fabulous, helpful and friendly team. 6. Dr. Fairbanks did an world class job on two procedures I had done. I will speak on the latter. From a young age, I could never breathe solely through my nose, so I would pick at it until I had a perforation in my septum. I had gone to see a highly rated ENT group in Seattle to try to fix what I thought was a deviated septum it and they determined they could not work on it, to which I was very frustrated at the time. At this point, I am glad they couldn't. I went to Dr. Fairbanks and he offers a different approach from any surgeon I have worked with. A thorough evaluation and explanation of the considered procedure, to where he even drew the anatomy of my nose to help my better visualize the procedure. (Apparently he does this for many of patients since his background is in artistic sculpting). Apparently one of my nostrils did not have any airflow to the turbinates (think air filters inside your nose that also protect against bacteria and infection) so he diagnosed that by operating and opening up my nostril to my turbinate, shaving them down rather than removing them (which is what many ENT's recommend), that it would dramatically increase airflow. It did! I have never been able to breath so clearly in my life and he also re-enforced my nose to protect against collapse from where I had picked as a kid. It is the first time I have ever been able to SOLELY breath through my nose! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! WORLD CLASS IN SLC!

Before I met Dr. Grant Fairbanks, I had undergone four breast surgeries with other doctors, and the experience was very unpleasant. However, Dr. Fairbanks was empathetic, professional, and made me feel safe. I was initially skeptical, but he patiently listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and explained the procedure thoroughly. He set realistic expectations for the outcome of the surgery. Today, I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Fairbanks delivered as promised and I am now happy with my body. I want to thank Dr. Fairbanks for helping me feel more confident in the person I see in the mirror.
